wasted opportunity to use シカシカ as sfx instead of シコシコ

At first I thought the [www.minimeinsights.com] Rose Carbonara flavor was inspired by something in-universe in One Piece but turns out it wasn't.

Done reading the manga.

I've listened to three English-dubbed versions of Mymble on the 90s anime Moomins. The first sounded like the amalgamation of Little My & Snorkmaiden, the reason being she was voiced by Toni Barry, the VA of the latter two characters. The second version is voiced by Stacey Gregg, thus Mymble sounded exactly like Alicia, another character Stacey Gregg voiced. Had a bit of chuckle listening to the third version, because the new VA who replaced Stacey Gregg gave the character an apparent English-accent. Toni Barry's version was very soft-spoken. I guess the reason for the replacement might be due as the series progressed, Mymble showed more personality and flaws such as vanity and insecurity.

Last year on FB I saw someone shared a manga panel showing a woman (possibly a villainess?) had gaping wound inflicted on her after what might be a child or tiny-statured humanoid punches itself clean right through the woman's chest. In fact, it's almost carbon copy of how kid Goku killed the original Picollo in Dragon Ball. I do not recall it's ever revealed the name of that manga though.

Feminist-wannabe need to leave 90s Sailor Moon alone. Stop complaining about the sexy designs of the series' monsters of the week.

Forgot that the character Too-Ticky from Moomin (1990) is actually female.

OMG. Little My & Snorkmaiden's voice is so squeaky in the original Japanese dub of Moomin. As for Moomintroll, I don't what was I expecting when I found out Minami Takayama provided his voice. Since Moomintroll is a young male, of course he sounded closer to Conan Edogawa rather than Nabiki Tendo. I was also surprised that the guy who would voice Frieza in Dragon Ball & that creepy Shinigami captain in Bleach is Sniff's voice actor.

There are A LOT of great works that get butchered by poor anime adaptation.
If only.

Didn't realize there was an anime adaptation of the Lord of the Rings out in cinemas last month. Not about the Fellowship nor the Ring of Power though. Rather it's about a different conflict that takes place in another time.

Pokemon fan? No. (only watched until the early half of the Johto series)
Delicious? Yes.
