Why are male protagonists often so ... mh, "shy" or even pathetic? (I believe there is a word specifically for this)
I mean there is at least one girl who likes the guy, and often over the time more girls are introduced who also likes the guy and the obligatory things happen: "boy falls on top of girl, grabbing boobs by accident", "girl flirts with the boy", "changing room accident", ... and the boy just screams and runs away.

Why even bother with adding all the cute girls into the series if no ecchi is shown? Or at least that the boy takes a good look (in the changing room) or, well, just speaks to the girl and responds to the flirty girls.

At least the last time I saw a nosebleed fountain is some time ago.
