I always imagine a lot of possible outcomes or alternate versions while watching something.
Added to the fact I watch/read lots of other stuff, I can sometimes have expectations while rewatching, and see what I was thinking of never happened in the end.

Waka-Okami ha Shougakusei really surprised me with the high level of direction. It's a story that's been done a thousand times before of course, but it's a near perfect movie. The source material must have been good, too.

Had a thought; is anime more engaging because it shows mundane kids do extraordinary things in a mundane environment? As opposed to western action/adventure/thriller that shows extraordinary people doing things in extraordinary environments.

Normally only one of those that I connect with.
