I figured it out. When you gain shield prof on a block, it comes out in this order:

But when you gain armour (including shield) prof from a hit, it's the other way round:

So that's two separate gains from two different attacks.

I betcha I can find a light armor prof gain that occurs like that. Either I saw that or my mind went strolling the deich. I'll come back when I got something.
