This is for all the times you started to write something as an answer to something but then changing your mind because you thought it was stupid on second thought. I know other people have that, too.

I started typing this, an attempt at a new thread I had in mind quite a while now:

In this thread, all posts* must consist of one or more original quotes from other threads and nothing else. It is possible to omit words but you may not add or change any so that the sense of the actual post gets lost.

Let's see if we can get a proper conversation going**.

Okay, I'll bite

This thread is quite an impossible for someone like me. My thoughts are a pure stream of consciousness of genius and humor. My mind is a constant source of originality and creativity, the likes of which people wish they could attain. I am the Leonardo da Vinci of words on this motherfucking forum.

That sounds like a terrible idea, rad. Not only would I have to go into Spamhaus, I'd have see the man's awful avatards and most likely read some of his post. These are just things I can't condone under any circumstances.

In some circles, the phrase 'torpedoed' can be used to refer to an idea or concept that was scrapped before it saw the light of day, so my post in that thread isn't totally unwarranted. Still would've been more at home here, though.

I'm also not 100% sure what the real meanings are for some of them.
