On a more serious note, "closet atheist" is my own term for agnostic. I won't go as far as to claim a copyright on it, because I'm pretty damn sure many people have thought of this before me.

Also, if you dig semantics and etymology, "agnostic" comes from "ignorant". False modesty ? I don't think so.

I don't know anything about what happened in the past and won't trust any religion that says otherwise ; however, I will not go as far as to say we came out of nowhere. Thus, I like to pretend I am merely ignorant about how it all happened.

Labeling is a great system to keep organized. I label my books on the shelves, though sometimes it gets dicey on deciding where they go. For example, should I place Bram Stoker's Dracula in 'classics' or 'fiction?' I have very few fiction books, so both categories are small.

I really should just pull the plug on my internet and do my homework...
