What's a DO?
"Dearest one". My own term for my beloved one since we're not married, and I can't exactly call her a girlfriend either.

You don't want to know who that is because you'd either call me a liar or that would piss you off to no end and like I said earlier, I don't want our magical friendship to brutally end on such a futile matter.

QUOTE(Benjiro @ Apr 5 2012, 12:24) *
And, since when are four litres too much? I mean, it might have a psychological effect: I drank six liters daily for a while and felt horrible when there wasn't any water within my reach at any given time, but other than that, there shouldn't be anything wrong with it...
Drinking (healthy) water itself is not dangerous, but you can die from water poisoning or bladder occlusion if you drink too much of it. Water poisoning mostly depends on your constitution and only happens in extreme cases such as drinking 10L of water in a single day. Such as [thelede.blogs.nytimes.com] this case. The moron didn't even manage to achieve a posthumous victory. I lol'd.

Basically, water poisoning induces a critical loss of sodium, from what I've read.

Also, I used to drink a daily 4L of water before I got that lung lobectomy. That obviously didn't cause a critical loss of sodium, but made my BMI even worse. So, if you aren't exactly fat, I wouldn't recommend drinking too much water.

Nah, no worries, chap, I find it kind of cute that it's 33 years older than you. I won't ask deeper before I get stupid ideas. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

Also: Afaik, only 0.5 litres of demineralized water are enough to kill you...

No copyrights on that one as far as I know. A quote would have been a different story.

And yes, I'm being genuinely pissed right now, because even if I was the gayest man in the world, DSK would be the last person I'd go for. Not even in a prison cell.

This person should be exterminated in the most horrible way.

Rad and Muramasa are trying to find out the true identity of someone who is important to me. And I'm acting all like I'm frustrated about them being dicks about it. Nothing big, really.

Besides, I'm still waiting for your reply, Rad.

EDIT : Might as well remove the interesting part.

Next time you do this, look in the mirror before showering.

If the result is the same, you have too high standards for your own physical image.

I've always known I have high standards for myself. I can never be happy with my level of physical fitness. I think I'm getting fat though.

I couldn't care less about the fact that I'm skinny. Because I've seen worse. Much, much worse. Those people with critical anorexia literally look like skeletons.

Also, I don't exactly care about how I look like. I do care about how I sound like, though. Paradox ?

I don't care about the looks per se (or societal considerations about what they consider good looking), but rather the actual level of physical fitness. Strength, speed, agility, endurance. Well, I've ditched strength most of my life in favor of the other three, but I definitely keep a decent level of strength. Looking in the mirror I see I've gotten some fat around my waist, since I haven't been running lately, and I realize I have gotten weaker because of mental complacency. Physical fitness is actually about mental strength. In my opinion, anyways.

So, you care about basic abilities. Seeing as an ability reset is not an option in our world, I'd suggest :
- drinking more water to get rid of unwanted fat ;
- eating less food that has fat in it (more vegetables, more fruits, in small quantities)
- three meals a day max without anything in between.

Depressed people tend to get either fat or skinny. I was goddamn fat (BMI 30) when I was still young and 'healthy', and then my BMI suddenly dropped to 16 in two months as soon as I got depressed.

Masturbation helps you burn unwanted calories. There is no scientific proof that I know of, but you can trust me on this, as it counts as physical exercise and involves complex chemical reactions in your brain.

Of course, getting rid of the depression would help you with that as well but that's another story... Most of us are still stuck with it.

lol im not depressed. In fact I would say I swing towards the other end and have manic episodes. Occasionally I get sad, and I used to think that was depression because none of my friends are depressed and everyone around me is either happy or cynical, but then I met all of you people and I realized I wasn't depressed, I just get emotional quite easy. I'm a generally happy person.

All in all I just need to start running again.

Getting emotional means you're still human. You tend to try and spread happiness around you, which is why I guess you went with Fluttershy as your avatar.

However, if you suddenly find yourself swinging between happy and sad phases on a daily basis, that's a bipolar disorder.

Actually bipolar is nowhere near what the media portrays it as, and as the majority of people think of it. In bipolar disorder the moods don't change erratically like most people believe. In fact, if the moods change more than four times in one year its called Bipolar Disorder - Rapid Cycling Type. Usually a bipolar disorder (I or II) just means that you're depressed for a few months, you feel normal for a month or two, then you get a manic for a few days or weeks. And these have to qualify as actual depression and manic episodes in their own right. I remember my abnormal psych professor said that anything close to the double digits is extremely unnatural and they would resort to extreme therapies to try to bring the count down.
