It's just basically bread pudding done one slice at a time. This post has been edited by Shadow Weaver: Mar 30 2012, 19:45

hornie answered that question, Pseudoshy.
But seriously - baguettes are fucking overpriced those days. And taste like crap.
Last thing I thought : A friend of mine went to Japan last September. The first thing he looked for was a French-styled bakery, bitched that everything was overpriced and they didn't even sell baguettes, then he went to the closest McDonald's. So, technically, he visited Japan and ate American junk food and French bread.

It's called International Cuisine. edit: all this posting about "bread" is making me hungry. I'm going to make myself some "toast". This post has been edited by cyberwaveIT: Mar 30 2012, 20:22

QUOTE(FourThirteen @ Mar 30 2012, 00:00) Really? I never heard that. Congrats Tens, wherever you are.
Thank you. QUOTE(Mika Kurogane @ Mar 30 2012, 00:02) That's what I heard, at least. We didn't get to see pics, so maybe it didn't happen.
Yes, it happened, last December. It's my private life and I like to keep it that way. QUOTE(Mika Kurogane @ Mar 30 2012, 10:52) Last thing I thought : A friend of mine went to Japan last September. I once ate at a McDonald's in London. It happened to be really crowded and when that happens, strangers will share tables with you. They'll just sit down at an available chair. If you try doing that here, you'll get the shit kicked out of you. It's so freaky seeing our typically disgusting fast food in other countries and seeing them enjoy it.

I don't think I've ever ran into a cultural food group that I would call gross, I've liked all sorts of food. I get a feeling I wouldn't like Filipino food from the looks of it though.

Foreign food. It's like when you rest your chin in your hand and your fingers are up by your nose and you smell something and you try to think where your hand's been.

Hope you didn't get offended. :3 Also, I was trying to point out that people with a huge post count may actually have a social life.

I had McDonald's once while I was in Japan. The people were friendly and the food looked like it did in the pictures. I also went to a French-styled bakery and it was good and pretty cheap. Why not? Its basically a cross between Spanish and Chinese food. Except for when they eat coconut grubs. That's all kinds of indigenous peoples. And everybody loves lumpia. Bitches get all crazy for lumpia. QUOTE(Mika Kurogane @ Mar 30 2012, 16:20) Also, I was trying to point out that people with a huge post count may actually have a social life.
I haven't had a social life since I got out of school. And by social life I mean the occasional shenanigans with people when I wasn't in the lab. I don't even like the people I work with on the rare occasions I have to pop into the office and see them.

Got a Flip friend and occasionally he posts pictures of homemade food from his mom and it doesn't look at all that savory. Of course, I am not one to knock food unless I try it, so if I ever find myself at his mom's house I'll give their food a try.
