That's basically me. My sister gets a new car every three years, pretty much as soon as she's done paying one she gets another one. Meanwhile I've had two cars in 8ish years, and that's only because I didn't want to deal with the hassle of moving my old Chevy Lumina from Hawaii to San Diego when I moved, so I gave it to a friend and got myself another car when I moved here.

EDIT: I'm riding my corolla to the ground; I expect it to last me another 10 years or so.

The thing about cars, as well as many other things, that gets me is quality anf functionality. Shit is shit, whether its a car or bike. BMW and Mercedes-Benz require you to bring their shit to a dealer and the quality is crap to begin with.

When I started college, I bought a dilapidated old Accord that still ran really well to commute with because my 300ZX was gonna just chug gas. I wrecked it the first week. Then I bought another one and I had that one for a few years until I gave it to my brother when he started school and he wrecked it. True story.

Asians are bad drivers. True story.

Cars are shit and I hate them.

I hate cars and am scared every time I get in one, whether I'm driving or just a passenger. The less cars on the road, the better. America needs some drastic changes such as the following:

1. Greatly improve public transit
2. Increase legal work age to 18
3. Increase legal driving age to 18

This would drastically decrease the amount of vehicles on the road, car accidents and car insurance. It will also cut back on job competition and improve people's overall health(making them walk more).
