QUOTE(cptkleenex @ Feb 25 2012, 20:16) Facebook just recommended that I "like" the activity of walking. First off, that's a stupid thing to recommend, especially based on absolutely nothing. The funniest part is that exactly 1 of my friends has "liked" this activity and just happens to be one of the fattest people on my list. Was I missing the part "to the fridge" or does "liking" an activity mean you don't actually have to do it? People, you make me giggle.
I apparently 'liked' Macy's. I have no recollection of doing so.

So I was talking to an old gal pal of mine and she told me she'd "be right back, I need to go lay some cable.". I thought about it for it a minute and said "Oh my god, she totally just told me she was going to go take a shit!". Now this chick is usually quite prim and proper when it comes to what she says, so for her to basically say that I couldn't help be a bit shocked.

I wanted to make a new thread in the serious debates thread titled "Musings of the arts, sciences, theoretics, and literature." With the hope of allowing a person to freely express thoughts on specific subjects they have an advanced understanding of and significant interest in. Then I realized how utterly inactive the serious debate thread is and how it would likely be just me posting on topics no one else really cares to learn about (unless people are into psychology, mathematics, genetics, and philosophy) and decided against it. I need to find a new forum that caters to such topics, it really is a shame that wis.dm shut down a long time ago, I had some of my best discussions in that website.

I just recalled that I knew a girl in middle and high school with the last name of Shovein. It is pronounced "show-vain". I'm surprised I didn't think of the multiple grotesque remarks I could have utilized.

Many thanks Rob, at first glance it seems like my kind of site, I'll look into it a little more thoroughly tomorrow.

I frequent th serious debates but I get the feeling that people juist aren't really talking to each other but instead thinking of more subtle and/or spectacular forms to boast their own "humble" opinion. Yes, debates are intended to that, to an extent, but not in that way. And I would be interested in your thread, mainly because it relieves you from reading everything from everybody....

If it's that good, we should share the link around more. It could be a convenient way to get rid of people.

Drinking soya bean can cause a significant decrease in sperm counts? Since this rumor was spread by mouth, it must be untrue.

I would totally wear a lavender tuxedo with a dark gray shirt. Probably all the time. I mean, why not me?

Did your wife recommend that? Please don't hit me, just asking/trying to decipher your intentions....
