Hmmm, i think Rad is right..... Many humans seem stupid... too many ARE stupid, but humanity in general isn't _that_ stupid, just extremely illogical/irrational (pick out what you prefer)
Also, we are too emotional, IMO, but i think i said that already somewhere....

Humanity in general is where popular opinion overrules logic and sense. If all humans had the logic to rrecycle or do something to aid the environment then perhaps the world wouldn't be as bad as it is. If we all had the sense to see that some people have different opinions than others and accept that fact compared to getting angry like a bunch of crap flinging monkeys then humans would be much more pleasant to be around.

Shit, if half of people on youtube had the supposed 'common' sense to avoid any videos they don't like or at least not broadcast their displeasure of such a thing for everybody to see and not give a damn, youtube wouldn't be such a bad place.

Stupidity isn't a dominant gene, it is just easier to spread. "Smart" people discuss child rearing for months, if not years. They practice safe sex. They may have multiple relationships and not produce children in any of them because that would be reckless. They may grow old having not reared any children, or have a single child.

Now contrast this with someone who is going around, person to person catching STI/D's and getting knocked up, or knocking other people up, with children as far as the eye can see.
Which of these two groups is going to have more offspring?

Because if you were a rational, logical person you would be the person in column B having as many children as possible because this would increase your own chances of well-being as your many children age and maybe some of them would look after you.

You would live life as a numbers game, having no fear and no shame. Which would be a shame as it would also mean you would have no love and no pride. When people use the word "stupid" what they really mean is "why does this person not act and think like I do?".

I disagree heartily. Some people may say stupid in that way, but that's not what I mean. If I have to define it, a stupid person to me is someone who can't see past their own nose, metaphorically speaking.

Your idea of having as many children as possible would be stupid, by my rationale. A person, being a member of society, has some responsibility to consider how their actions will affect others, and polluting the world with offspring you can't take care of would be thoughtless and cruel. Besides that, having tons of kids could have plenty of negative consequences for you personally. So, really, I find it hard for anyone to consider that a smart move, unless of course they are themselves... stupid.

The whole notion of living without love or pride is absurd as well. If said person was smart, they'd realize what a shit life that would be to live and thus not live that way. Again, we come back to the notion of thinking things through first. This is what smart people do.

I read tokendood's and FourThirteen's posts and i find myself considering one of them truly stupid compared to the other.

Theory: I'm thinking it's likely that the artist formerly known as Dragon_Zero was on the site since 2009, under the name Dethlite, but he forgot his original login stuff and made a new account named Dragon_Zero. After that one got banned, he tracked down his old login and a proxy and came to see the collateral from his earlier trollery.
