Had to get my car it's yearly inspection this past week and it ended up costing me just under a $1000 to keep it roadworthy and pass the test. I had a broken blinker and changing the light wasn't enough, so some wiring had to be replaced ($150). I also had to replace the sway bar ($150) and finally I had a cracked exhaust manifold ($650). The other issue was my airbag light was on and the computer had to be replaced, which would have cost me about $1500 but my car was apparently under a recall for that defect and it was free. So my hopes that it wouldn't cost too much and allow me to actually make a dent in my debt got shot to shit.

Again I'm thankful for awesome credit otherwise I'd be fucked in these situations.

So a friend of mine who writes/reads fanfiction kept bugging me to read stories from an author, gabriel blessing, since he did some "crossovers" (just learned the term, not sure if using it right) from one of my favorite anime, Fate/Stay Night. I decided to humor her and read a bit, long story short...I freaking read one story in a single sitting (took hours). I had no idea what Familiar of Zero or Sekirei were about beforehand, but I actually liked those stories regardless. I have only one thing to say to you fanfiction fanatics out there...I hate you all...just not as much as much as I hate myself for both reading it and enjoying it.

I read anthropomorphic yaoi Pokemon fanfic once and enjoyed it. The right* author can make anything bearable.

*: I somehow typoed that as "write." Huh.

I hate when professors have a bunch of excess info in their slides, and don't differentiate between what is needed for the exam and whats just for conceptual examples

So the Patriots are winning and the NYGgas are whining...

I normally watch the old Michael Jackson Super Bowl show during halftime but I'm a tiny bit curious about the Madonna one this year. I don't know what I'm expecting except for possible tears at the end and an uncontrollable shaking but what the hell... here we go.

Post show edit: My hat sure is delicious because I was actually pretty entertained by it. Madonna still has a pretty good stage presence and I'm frankly impressed by that. I would have preferred LMFAO and Nicki Minaj would have stayed the hell away but I'd actually say I was pleasantly surprised by it. Bravo Madonna, though you've been a bit bitchy in the public spotlight lately, you still have my respect.
