QUOTE(Mika Kurogane @ Jun 21 2011, 11:05) All that preparation work for nothing. Did it get you frustrated ?
I can't imagine what a frustrated Tens looks like.
I'm used to shit like that happening so I usually make this kind of face. (IMG:[ lulzimg.com] http://lulzimg.com/i23/2515b3.gif) I only trimmed my toenails because my friend was coming over and he always makes fun of my feet. And his feet are a thousand times more disgusting than mine! We always have a foot competition but he's got feet like Fred Flintstone. At least in the winter we can cover that shit up with shoes but it's sandal season so I see his gross feet and everyone else's nasty feet when I'm in public.

Sounds like typical IKEA kits with leftover bolts. Except these are here for trolling purposes, just to make you wonder what you did wrong.
Also, shit almost never looks like what's on the manual.
Edit : Slow typing is slow. I need some kind of perk for faster typing, seriously. Yeah, summer's the season for bare feet. Not all feet are nasty, fortunately. ...I'm going to keep those thoughts for the Adult Chat.

QUOTE(Tenseigamoon @ Jun 21 2011, 14:00) I'm not even kidding, yesterday I wanted to trim my toenails so to be neat about it, I put my foot up on a little step stool I have and carefully placed a paper plate under my toes to catch the clippings. I did one foot perfectly and then the other.
When I was done, I moved my foot away and it bumped the paper plate and all the toenail clippings fell on the carpet.
I'm amazed that even worked. When I cut my nails, half the time the clipping will take off flying in a random direction. It doesn't help that my carpet is practically the same color, either.

Same here. I usually do the clipping in the bathtub to avoid unnecessary frustration.

QUOTE(cmal @ Jun 21 2011, 01:11) Actually, the insurance money was chump change compared to the massive fortune that is my family's real estate holdings and the family business is no mom and pop operation, either. Unfortunately, now I have to go prancing around at night in a costume picking fights with criminals.

I know I'm a saddo because all I'm thinking is cutting the nails when wet damages the nails.

How does that work? Wouldn't they be damaged less because they're soft and less likely to break at strange angles?

You have to do a controlled clip to prevent flying toenail pieces. It takes a lot of skill and a steady hand.

I've written it once, I'll write it again:

Cutting wet nails works better for me. Softer and faster. Also, less painful. QUOTE(Tenseigamoon @ Jun 21 2011, 22:52) You have to do a controlled clip to prevent flying toenail pieces. It takes a lot of skill and a steady hand.
Like fast typing, I guess. I'm better at clipping nails than posting on this forum, that's for sure. This post has been edited by Mika Kurogane: Jun 21 2011, 23:48

I type so smooth and fast on my laptop keyboard it's not even funny. And there's no clacking. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/anime_cry.gif) I'm finally getting used to this desktop keyboard although I feel a bit distressed each time I look down at it before I start typing. A better term would be typo-clacking. This post has been edited by Tenseigamoon: Jun 22 2011, 02:32

I love school functions.
High school kids can get so rowdy.

Going back to nail cutting, it's getting about time to cut my mutilated finger's nail... I'm needing a screwdriver to get at stuff from underneath it.
Best bust out the toenail clippers, 'cause this mother's about thrice as thick as normal and it curls weird and it's soft...
You know how regular finger nails kind of just snip off. This one I have to basically lumberjack through...

Do what I do and get a manicure by a professional once a month. $15-$25 and they do your nails up proper. Makes cutting your fingernails later on a little easier too.
