College is becoming obsolete. I believe things like Khan Academy are going to become far more commonplace, and in fact encouraged by employers. There may still be things to learn and good experiences to be had at a real university, but none of them are worth the massive debt, which you aren't even likely to get a good enough job to pay off anymore.
Computer science will go faster. They already do all those little certification programs for specific platforms.

On a related note, I've been doing this daily (http://dynamo.dictionary.com/) to test my vocabulary and expand it little by little. You sometimes get some overlap but not too often.
