I started early on the cranberry sauce. I seriously LOVE cranberry sauce. I've been to Cape Cod and I've seen the mythical cranberry bogs. OMG, I just trembled a bit.

Mmm, look at it. So delectable.

(IMG:[i28.lulzimg.com] http://i28.lulzimg.com/63b0bc25ba.jpg)

That's the whole kind. And then we have the jellied kind that makes those sloshing suction noises when it slips out of the can.

(IMG:[i28.lulzimg.com] http://i28.lulzimg.com/50b3b74def.jpg)

Oooooh.

Vakuen, putting jello into a mold is really easy, I don't know how you are surprised by it.

Well, I really dislike jello. I don't think about it often. I guess I was thinking of those little jello cartons, not the stuff you make up.

USA does not think pizza is a vegetable. Public schools are just having trouble convincing congress that children's diets aren't important, so they had to game the system somehow. I guess they could just give public schools more money so they can afford good food in the cafeteria, but there's a limited federal budget, and hell the Middle East isn't going to destroy itself.

Well, okay, it probably is, but we're still not going to cut military spending.

I think they'd get better results if they stopped worrying about what children eat and instead introduced obligatory daily workouts. Mild but sustained effort and calory burning everyday. Many children don't move at all unless they really have to, and are transported to school and back. Many eat so much at home that whatever school gives them doesn't make any difference. And P.E lessons include many games that may be more entertaining but don't result in many calories burnt, and it might be relatively easy to be excused from them, also on account of factors not related to calories burning, like inability to cope with social elements of some games or physical dangers of more strainful exercises - which get worse as the child gets fatter. Why do people who know about economics use such a thing in arguments?
