VR in a nutshell: Manufacturers don't want to invest much in risky venture -> Barely support their ecosystem & locked down whatever they made to scrape up all the profit they can -> Only few enthusiasts willing to afford their proprietary crap -> Few & segmented customer base -> Manufacturers see this as risky venture and unwilling to invest more -> Repeat ad infinitum.
It's ridiculous how there's still a good amount of PSVR games that won't work in PSVR2... Oh well, atleast Sony has just announced that PSVR2 will support PC sometimes in the future. Baby step, I guess.
