The main site admin is a fan of it. Also, this forum experienced its most rampant growth phase in the years 2010-2012 when MLP: FiM was still new and the Pony craze on the Internet was at its highest.

It's a similar situation to why I have a Kyubey avatar. Because I registered in 2011 and Madoka was the hyped hot new recent shit that year. And I don't bother to change my avatar cause I'm not important, even though I don't really care about the Madoka franchise in 2023.
