And let me add an example of someone who decided to marry and have children but didn't embrace the responsibility. That person is my late father. His partying out with friends and drinking every night is the cause of my older brother died as a baby. Had my farther not neglected his responsibility, he would have recognized that my brother's fever was abnormal and would've saved his life by sending him to hospital immediately. My mother at the time was a first time mother and a simple-minded housewife. Didn't know what to do when her husband ignored her concerns over and over.

Remember parents and future parents. When you marry and have children, you essentially signed a deal to give up your own hopes and dreams. Unconditional love for the children take precedence over parents' ambitions. Parents have no right to expect their children to help fulfill their dreams if the children clearly isn't interested nor financially able. If parents aren't ready to give up their dreams, do not have children.

maybe is the problem in the 21 century? even with parents, friends make wishes for you, or even, impose you. Remember lose a couple of friends just because that, and tried to make me feel bad about that. why? they want me spend money in proyects i can't enter into, and then maybe, receive something with the garantee of "thanks". completly chessy.
from when friendship is equal to accept orders/wish or whatever else? i can understand if for a good thing, like a help in times of problems, but not that time.

I want to go to Genting Highlands the theme park but for some stupid reason my stupid siblings stupidly fulfilled my stupid mother's stupid wish to visit the strawberry and tea farms in Cameron Highlands. They had a chance to redeem themselves 2 years later but instead stupidly decided to bring my stupid mother to a holiday in Kundasang. Just for what!? The damn stupid dairy farms! For years I treated my siblings to expensive snacks and tidbits and even donated a laptop computer to my sister and helped top up prepaid mobile credits for other sister. Guess I should not have wasted my money for them. Mother squandered the family's finances and still she hogs all the attention. Even their pet cats got more attention than me.

The worst kind of marriage. There was one time when my mother informed that a neighbor was "interested" to have me marry her daughter. I said no.

"Then what am I supposed to tell her?? If you marry, you'll learn to be responsible!" she said, embarrassed.
"You can't force this kind of responsibility! Otherwise, I'll end up like father!" I scolded back.

It's like my mother has completely forgotten how neglectful and abusive her husband was. Only one who's willingly embrace the responsibility of parenthood can be a good parent. Force it on someone who's not ready can only end up in repeating the vicious cycle.

Also, why the fuck would I marry someone who I've never before??

Listening to music without thinking calms me down

Life in Bintulu sucks. Previously no lower staff would dare to defy an Assistant Resident Engineer even if the orders are unfair and unreasonable. When I finally became an Assistant Resident Engineer, I asked for a ride to and from office and the place I'm renting, I was considered an "immature brat". What the fuck just happened!? I have never seen such insolence! It is unprecedented! Previously Resident Engineer, Assistant Resident Engineer and government agencies enjoyed such privileges. They merely asked for a ride and everyone said ok. How is this fair?

If I bought a bunch of chocolate bars then gave them to kids to sell door-to-door at a huge market saying it was for charity, I could probably get a few thousands dollars without leaving a paper trail or be in danger of being audited.
