You need to really be careful with those.
MicroSD cards have a nasty tendency to have bugs in the onboard firmware that suddenly corrupt their internal data structures, causing the entire drive to "die" in an instant, with zero warning, and with the data being completely unrecoverable by the end user.
You *must* keep them backed up.
I think they're more unreliable than traditional hard drives. Other people have disagreed with me, telling me they've had sudden catastrophic failures of those too. Fair enough, keep them all backed up.
