A garbage truck ripped off (in Spanish would be "arrancar de cuajo") the side indicator light of the car and the front bumper, but me and my sister weren't injured.

Me: "Wave hello & goodbye - check. Give a warm hug - check. Greet (e.g. Hello, Good Morning, Good Afternoon etc.) - check. Ask "How are you?" - check. So where did I go wrong? How could Auntie complained to Grandmother that I'm being very rude to Uncle?" (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
Auntie: "Just who do you think my husband is!? He's not your father. You should offer him a handshake every time you see him. He's a respected businessman, damn it. After 5 years, my patience with you is running thin. And yet you haven't figure it out!" (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)
This does not sound right: '4 year olds can hop four to six steps on one foot' '5 year olds can easily hop a distance of 16 feet'
WHAT KIND OF FUCKING 5 YEAR OLD DO YOU HAVE?! I don't think I could hop more than 10 feet vertically unless I had a running start. Am I just a really horrible jumper or something?
AH I get it, it's just really horribly worded in my book. I think they mean to say that such is the average distance children can cover in one attempt, such as hopping a whole distance of 16 feet before getting tired or just physically being unable to do anymore, not cover that distance in one long JUMP.

My professor apparently hasn't been reading my game journal. I wonder if it's because the minimum length for each post is 150 words, and my shortest post so far is something like 400.

Yes, precisely. This is why the English language is so fun obnoxious sometimes.

I spent a while arguing with myself out loud about how those feats were near impossible. Finally after reading the paragraph a few times over it sunk in. lolenglish.
Height would imply vertical, but I can see why you say this. When I said that I myself could only jump maybe 10 feet vertically I meant horizontally. Didn't bother to edit because someone got my point.
I may have been wrong. The individual posts have no pageviews, but the main blog itself had something like 5 views last week, and I haven't been sharing the link around.
