Another example of reading & writing in a dream. There was an arranged marriage between two mafia families, with the young daughter of one being married off to a man from other, which resulted in her parents being killed by the other family and then her family wiped out. I had the wikipedia pages describing it up on my monitor, as well as seeing and hearing the assassination happening in a stairwell. Then it replayed with me as the daughter, and I was not having it. No way in hell was I marrying that guy. That changed the course of events such that my family annihilated theirs instead. Strong leadership, not compliance, leads to victory.

As they were coming, I closed the pages. They were going to read differently when I was done. They brought me the marriage license in an envelope, all filled out and waiting for my signature. I spoiled the document by writing across it in red ink. "NO. I refuse to marry this candidate." The sleazeball they sent was angry. I had no fucks to give.

This was occasioned by my disgust at the latest end of evangelion movie, in particular how they shipped off all the characters, and how I hated their pairings.
