Have only gone to Cinema and Karaoke once.
Why would I go out if I can do almost everything at home (IMG:[

Doh! My apologies: I misunderstood the "40 is still young for me" from earlier.
Well..... Hmm. Being at a concert "live" is different than watching and hearing a "live" concert videocast.
I got an e-ticket to a concert last year; it was good, it was fun- but not the same. I have a pretty nice TV, have really nice audio. In some ways, it was better than being there, the camera work was really good, the sound quality was definitely better than being there. But it was missing the.... I'm not sure what word can express it properly. The total experience is more than seeing and hearing.
It's like a really nice hotel pool isn't the beach. Or a private video time with a really hot camgirl definitely isn't the same as "live" sex.
If you only experience music from home- there are definite advantages: you won't have to use a public toilet that might have vomit or urine on the floor (or in the sink 😆). You won't pay really high prices for a drink or a snack or a t-shirt. Probably won't get into a fight with a drunk guy. But you're still missing a lot of the experience, and in some ways, the BEST parts of the experience.
I don't think EVERYone HAS to go to concerts. A lot of people wouldn't enjoy it.
But, DAMN.... I LOVE them.
A friend wants to attend a concert later this year. I said "Hell, yeah! Let's go!"
He says, "You'll go in the pit with me, right?"
I said, "Shit, I'm almost XX! I don't think my ribs will heal so good anymore!"
So I'm not sure yet-- I'll have to see what happens.
