I was waiting for some crap to finish building on my computer, so I turned the tv on since I basically had no choice*. There was nothing good on, though. I ended up settling on Discovery, with some show called Dinosaur Revolution. That had to be the most ridiculous, awful piece of shit program I've ever seen passing itself off as a show about animals.

Okay, I understand dinosaurs are supposed to be portrayed as bad-asses kind of, but in what universe would a dinosaur, or any other animal, attack a competing male with a fucking drop kick? There was way too much idiotic speculation and personification throughout the program, but that moment was the worst of all.


*: In retrospect, I could've just picked up a book. Yeah...

In fairness, though, I don't have any good books now. I have the first few Death Note manga that I don't even know if I'll like, a book of short stories by L. Ron Hubbard, some random thing I started reading and didn't like (still don't know what it's about), and some shitty police and political dramas I got from a book club or whatever a while ago.

Apparently, I can make myself pass out by informing myself about somekind of disease whose symptoms may have occurred to me a few times and then getting scared of what i just read and what might have happened to me.
Luckily i also can prevent myself from fainting by walking in cricles and shouting to myself to stay awake like some kind of fucking schizophreniac. That'd have been messy: Fainting with nobody around to notice for several hours....
I didn't do any of this on purpose and i am sure as fuck not going to try it out one more time(!), but still. Wow...

...Even the fatal downsides of STPD are outright weird....

I just learned that the 'n' word, in any of its variations (probably excluding extreme samples that some imaginative people can come up with) is censored. I was quoting lyrics from Reggie Watts' song Fuck Shit Stack and making a reference then I pressed enter and instead of the word it says bunny. So I go "ok, cool, racial slurs are censored. I can deal with that, reduces the use of them, acts as a deterrent, love and peace and all that". Then I start thinking back to a joke I made about myself, something about being a border-hopping bean-loving dirty wetback spic and I said to myself "wait, that wasn't censored. how come?" so I tried out a few other racial/hateful slurs I could think of such as spic, spik, kike, cunt, fag, gook, and to my surprise they were NOT censored. So why do black people get special treatment? Either censor them all or don't censor at all. This is an adult website and people shouldn't take offense to something they read. I certainly don't care how bad you berate me, I'll probably just laugh it off a few minutes later.

It isn't "special treatment", it is simple logic. The same reason everyone checks themselves and refuses to make eye contact when they see a muslim about to board their plane.

It's not common sense or 'simple logic', its a matter of a social construct and varying degrees of subjective opinions. So people were registering here just to spam the word nigger? That's pretty horrible. See that's a logical explanation for the measures taken, if I had known previously. When did this happen?

Also, you may not look at a seemingly Muslim middle-easterner when you're onboard a plane, but don't assume the rest of of the world does the same. Matter of fact, some people get paid very well to look at them hard. I look at them hard for free. Nah I kid about that, I don't even acknowledge people exist when I'm in a safe place like an airport. Silly color codes and random searches, scaring us into submission.
