So I'm starting to see reviews of Final Fantasy XIII-2 cropping up and they're pretty good. Well, guess what fuckers? You also gave XIII high marks and it was horrendous. I'll wait a month or two and watch the price on it plummet like XIII did and only then might I even consider picking it up. That consideration will be determined by a roll of a 20-sided die though.

You're being a period monster about video games today.

I give game franchises a pass when they still show potential. Final Fantasy has not shown that ability to rise up from the mediocrity it's known for so long now. Even with all the bad press that Mass Effect 3 has been getting lately, I'm still genuinely excited for it since 1 and 2 have been fucking great. Even with all the good press FF XIII-2 has been getting, I'm not at all excited because it's shat on me far too much with the past installments.

I have WoW and SWTOR and soon Diablo III. I won't need another game for 17 years.

And that's awesome but PC games and MMO's aren't really my thing.
