Is there any way to reset progress in Genshin Impact without creating a new account? It’s just that I haven’t logged into the game for a long time and wanted to replay everything from the beginning in order to refresh the plot lines in my memory. But I’m frankly too lazy to create a new account, and if I do create one, I will definitely fall into the grind hole.

Yeah, that's a problem that I hope they'll fix one day, Genshin is one of the very few gachas where you can't replay previous story bits, perhaps one day they'll do something similar to FFXIV's New Game Plus because you don't really have a choice outside of creating a new account or watching on youtube like Waitugreat said but even then, it's likely that those youtube videos cut out the non-cutscene bits.

So, Hogwarts Legacy is out. I was already able to enjoy several very mean posts written by transpeople and trans-supporting people. I even read that goblins (?) are supposed to be jews ... ?!

The game itself seems not that good in some aspects. You can cast spells around and no one cares, you can open personal chests from other people with a spell and steal stuff and they don't care. Combat is easy and you can just go to the forbidden forest to kill monsters easily.
At least the story is nice, so if one wants some sort of cinematic game, it's okay.

Oh and there are cats. You can even pet them!

Nope, the event in genshin also time limited, new accounts means you will lost most of time-limited event and stay on the original main story, i don't recommend you to reset account either. If you want to refresh plot lines on the main story, or Archon Quest, better you go to archive (on the menu > archive > story).

Some Quest is hella long like Aranara, Jeht's Quest, Sand Dunes, i not recommend you to reset, it not only grinding but very long journey

Oh yes. One of the "oldest" games, if not THE oldest, is Starsector which first Alpha released in April 2011. In June the version "0.34a" got released.

That just reminded me of one of the stalker games, where I first met a controller mutant with his PSI attacks and the very uncomfortable sound/voice in the background. Ah well.

I can’t wait for Starfield, I really want to touch Fallout 4 in space with space battles, and given the potential of betshesda games for modding, then the corresponding mods, if you know what I mean

343 added ray-traced shadows to Halo Infinite's multiplayer, but not the campaign. Not that ray-tracing is a super important feature but it just proved MS/343 had totally abandoned support for the campaign, something they denied beforehand. All the more reason to only pick up the campaign at bargain price.

I'm really looking forward to Starfield. I hope the spaceship customization is deep.
