I see the people that supposedly make longplays (spoiler: they don't) at the site I'm getting them at are still as brain-dead as ever.
Only took that player a bit more than 13 minutes to realize subtitles weren't on and fix that.

If only they had spent the money they put to buy games, consoles and whatever is needed to make video, into buying a new brain instead. Even from an animal, anything would be a progress.

Nintendo Switch could have been better.

I know right! mobility is nice but I feel Im missing some quality/originality in its games

Halo Reach is difficult even on Normal, kinda like the Halo SPV3 mod.

The AI in Halo 3 is sometimes wonky. Rarely there'll be enemies that stand still as if I was invisible even though I'm standing right in front of it. Then there's Brutes who deploys equipment randomly without even effectively utilizing it.

The Flood level Cortana in Halo 3 is worse than Halo 1's The Library.

It's taken 10 years of waiting for the PC version to materialize. But I've finally finished Halo 3. The final level is very short, made worse by constantly getting swarmed from every direction by the Flood which is not fun at all. The final section is a nice touch however, a throwback to the "Warthog Run" from the first game, albeit without the timer.

Halo Reach is... just not as fun.

The Fallout Frontier mod is out but people from twitter are complaining about the people from Twitter that added a few cringe fetish lines. Its not like there have been no sexual jokes in fallout before, just they were implemented poorly and more for fetish instead of well executed jokes.

I think Twitter creates half the issues that they complain about.

Just realized the Advanced (Brute) Plasma Rifle in Halo SPV3's Lumoria campaign is inspired by Halo Reach's (Elite) Plasma Repeater, with an addition of manual heat dispersion mechanism.

Glad that I'm not the only one who feels this way.

My RX 5600 XT can (sort of) handle Halo SPV3's "Ray-Traced Screen Spaced Reflection" at widescreen resolution (1920x1200). Sure, GPU utilization is around 70%-95% and frame rate kept pushing up to 60, but there's also a bit of lag and stuttering when actions ramp up. Turning off Motion Blur & Bloom (from the get-go because I absolutely hate these) as well as Depth of Field did nothing to make the stuttering go away.

not very surprising assuming many do it for just youtube view farming. the only good longplay type of stuff i've ever enjoyed is someone replaying a game they like (very comfy if it's someone who doesn't really shout at the game or rant for hours on end to fill up the gameplay; my favorite is a full gameplay of some girl only sometimes going "i like this part" simply because of how chill it was), others being speedrun-kind of plays but more interesting than "trying to get the world record", like dead space no damage run,

all in all, wouldn't surprise me if they're just part of a network. you know the scenario: "play this game" from the boss, while they set up the next big longplay video for more views. myself, never gonna trust the people who do stuff with all the latest equipment, because you don't need a custom-made dualshock 5 to play the demons souls remake

Playing as an ODST in Halo 3: ODST, I can't dual wield, I can't jump as high and melee as strong as a Spartan. Strangely, being weaker canonically didn't stop my character from being able to wield heavy weapons in-game such as the Fuel Road Cannon and the Gravity Hammer.

You're missing a bit the mark: the "selling point" for me of the site in question is that they are playthrough, not "live show" with integration of voice or image or other from the player.
But it's in human nature to hunt good ideas, and screw them up as hard as possible in the most disgusting way (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

They trusted people from Twitter and Tumblr to do the script. So whilst the mod is technically impressive, its randomly cringe heavy in the script.

Bit of a disappointment, I was looking forward to the mod.

Its like in Cyberpunk there was one mission arc, where you are helping a women but then she comes out and says her husband didn't like her because she refused to get cyberparts even though she was trans-sexual.
She wanted to remain a natural transexual that had surgery but was worried about getting cyber implants and wanted to remain natural and avoid surgery...

I get what they were trying to get at, but it was a weird conversation. So her husband killed himself because she wasn't cyber-sexual? it was also funny because there were loads of beefy female characters in the story, but one of the female looking ones was a trans-sexual.

I feel like they added that story in to make some twitter group happy. It didn't really add anything to their character, they just bolted on some character dialogue at the end.
