How did Crytek messed up so bad? Crysis Remastered was developed using the latest CryEngine version 5 and yet it was reported that the game can only use a single CPU core. Crytek had misinterpreted what fans want. They want a better looking game while also greatly optimized for current-gen hardware, not one riddled with bottlenecks due to lazy programming. Even Crysis 3 had far better CPU utilization than this half-baked remaster.

Strange enough, the developer of Crysis Enhanced Edition decided to pull out the mod from download. Their reasoning is not logical. There's no need to axe the old version while an updated version is still being worked on.

it was probably better than the official version.

Starcraft 2 support and improvement is being mostly removed.

Compared to previous drivers, the power saving when Radeon Chill is enabled in Driver Version 20.9.2 is quite aggressive that GPU power never went anymore than 85W. However, as a result performance took a hit, dipping from average FPS of 50+ to 30+ with 44FPS peak.

Rather than clarifying a few matters by answering my questions, the developer of Crysis Enhanced Edition opted to delete my comment instead. Due to this display of jerky attitude, I am now inclined to believe the theory that the developer is trying to profit off the mod by taking down the download of the current version of the mod using the excuse an update is in the works so that more people could be forced to turn to the their Patreon page for download and support. It had nothing to do with legal issues with Crytek whatsoever. Son of a bitch.

First. Crytek squandered Crysis Remastered. Now, they announced the next Crysis installment as a F2P BR shit. Clearly, someone in Crytek was eating poo instead of food.

Called it. Crysis 2 & 3 will get a remaster. Seriously though, optimize the first remaster first. Running on the fifth iteration of CryEngine, yet can't take full advantage of modern multi-core processors and support neither Vulkan or DX12 API.

Can't afford an RTX3070 nor the RX 6800. Waiting for RX 6700 series instead. Playing Crysis Enhanced Edition at 1080p/1440p Ultra won't be anytime soon after all.

Crytek is hiring for "unannounced AAA sandbox FPS". Crysis 4, if only... They've said it before "F2P is the future". Crysis Remastered was made as a quick cash grab in order to fund this new project.
