Ballistic Weapons for UT2004 was last released way back in 2011 (v2.5). Now I found out the mod is still being developed, under the name of BW Definitive Edition. Just goes to show how legendary UT2004 is compared to other installments.

The best setting for RX 580 to run Crysis Remastered at 1080p 60fps is Medium or Medium + RT Performance. Hopefully, AMD would be more aggressive on pricing their RDNA2 products compared over what they did with RDNA.

If most bets are right about how RDNA2 stacks up against Nvidia's latest, they pretty much have to compete on value anyway. And RDNA mostly did--then Nvidia adjusted their product stack.

I mean, I'm happy enough with my RDNA card--but I was pushed there by the superior Linux user experience as much as anything, and that's not a normal use case.

I know it's not remotely likely, but I really would like to see RDNA2 or whatever Intel's doing with Xe or something compete with Nvidia at the top end. Sure, Nvidia latest launch is much improved in terms of value (even if you can't buy them right now; normal for launches of cards people actually want)--but they still need competition.

Crysis Remastered's Ray Tracing only works for light reflections and currently can't be used to create ambient occlusions and soft shadows. No wonder the environments just looked more beautiful but not even remotely close to realistic.
