I don't feel like it.... I have lots of awesome games, and the idea of playing them again is appealing for a moment.... But then I look at the cover, eventually take out the disc, and all my senses suddenly go "NAAAH" usually accompanied by a lame excuse like "I'm not in the mood for the genre"

Yesterday, I inserted TimeSplitters, a neat arcade shooter which was, for IT's time, actually good....
I liked it bur after just one hour I had to stop, I just lost any interest in it...

That in itself probably wouldn't be bad because I would "just not feel like playing" But I WANT to play a game...
Something out of my grasp, something I never played before...

It's like you open the fridge and are hungry for something that isn't in there...

My god how pathetic must I sound right now...
Fucking puberty (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

Some gamers have a more sophisticated mind, I think. You can buy a game after it gets great reviews, and it may very well be a great game, but it just isn't well-suited for you. Moods can change too, I guess. Sometimes you just want a pass-time or a story to enjoy, other times you want a challenge for your reflexes, and still other times you want a solid puzzle to unravel.

I don't know, just thinking. Games won't always do for us what we want at the time.

Hmmm, seems like I'm on an "Old PS2 games" Trip:
Devil may cry; TimeSplitters; GTA 3; I wonder what's next! (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

According [www.tweaktown.com] TweakTown, current gen games are limited due to their optimization for the weak CPUs of the consoles, instead of taking advantage of the super powered CPUs (>4GHz with 12 threads) for the PC.

Monday night. First time in a while that a videogame got my heart rate up. I had a feeling Cursed Mountain was worth a second look.
