QUOTE(gigano25 @ Oct 1 2016, 04:49) I did say the "majority" dislike the games after RE4 instead of everyone. If you like those games, good on you for not being a blind hater. But I don't think you can deny that all the RE games after 4 are widely hated by the RE community. Hell there are even RE fans out there that says RE4 is a trash game and it is the reason why every RE game after it sucks.
Personally I overall enjoyed RE5, but still wasn't really a fan of it. I didn't like most of the locations and I wish the atmosphere was a little bit darker. Also I didn't really had any problems with the AI. I actually never really had any problems with the AI in any RE game. They can be annoying sometimes, but not to point where I want to rage quit the game like some people says.
RE6 was mostly a shit show, but I actually did enjoy some parts of it. Mainly Leon's campaign. Also hated the button smashing QTE's in this game. I never had any problems with these type of QTE's in any game, but I just couldn't do the ones in this game. I actually had to use a perk to make them easier.
Really liked Rev1, because it had that dark gritty atmosphere again and also really liked Raid mode. Didn't liked Rev2 at all. Very boring level designs and didn't care that much about the story. Mainly Claire sides. Kind of enjoyed Barry sides. Also Moira was such a annoying and useless character. Even Natalia was more useful than her. Also I didn't like raid mode in Rev2. It was just basically mercenary mode with rpg elements.
Didn't bothered with Operation Raccoon city. The Umbrella Chronicles and The Darkside Chronicles were fun games, if you like on rail shooters.
Righto, but it's more fun to start a message with "fight me fugger." In all honesty, I was once in the "RE4 ruined Resident Evil" camp. I love it these days, don't get me wrong, but while it is in no way trash, it changed the series big time, and it arguably ditched the horror vibes. I'm sure it's obvious, but I agree with that statement, even though we'd have to figure out what's horror and what's tense, and that's a debate that makes everyone confused in the end, from my experience. When you say the atmosphere wasn't dark enough, I take it you don't mean brightness, but tone? If so, there's no denying that Chris saying that Wesker gets his ideas from comic books isn't some of cheesiest shit ever seen on the 360 or PS-Triple. As for AI, I swear that it must be the sort of thing where Capcom plants a chip at birth on someone that determines whether the AI is retarded or good when you play, because I have no other idea how people claim Sheva is a tard. That or I've used my lifetime supply of luck on one stupid video game. In which case please end me before my suffering begins. I have nothing but blithering hatred for RE6, so let me skip ahead a bit: QTEs are a fucking blight on games. Especially if the game tracks deaths and failing QTEs often result in death. Bonus points if it autosaves so you can't save scum out of having an imperfect file! I swear to god, if anyone tries to look at my death count in, say, Bayonetta, I'm going to show them my favorites list on EX. It'll be so much less humiliating and they'll be too busy trying to cut me out of their life to look at my death count. Revelations 2, I swear to god Capcom gave Moira the crowbar on purpose just to fuck with me. I know these conspiracy jokes are getting overdone but dammit, you can't give godawful characters great weapons! That's just dirty! Though, the way you describe Rev2 Raid Mode actually interests me. Mercenaries is fucking awesome and from what I read, the RPG elements sound up my alley. Which sucks because I'm not buying Rev 2, Episode One was enough torture for me. QUOTE(hujan86 @ Oct 2 2016, 16:02) They declared their Xbox as "meaningless" if M$ dared to bring Xbox-exclusive games to the PC. They grilled PC gamers, telling them to shut up and "be thankful" on the philosophy that a buggy and unoptimized PC release is a lot better than nothing. And now there's this: [ www.eteknix.com] Titanfall 2 Developer Hounded by Xbox Fanboys After Posting PS4 Disc Image Imagine all the dramas these fanboys would create when Scorpio is officially released next year. Oh goddammit, sounds like Inafune sucked them off.

Heh, revelations 2 is actually kind of worth it for the mercenaries TBH. Probably my favorite of RE mercenary, the AI sheva with a sniper though for RE5, dear christ it can hit anything, but that's if it detcts anything, 1/4 of the time it doesn't. The RE4 remaster on console is very smooth, but fuck I'm stuck on normal right after Big cheese chokes you and you meet the merchant for the first time, goddamnit the villagers don't stop spawning, and every other one is a TNT villager. Not so fun. Tried professional mode for RE5 and died with one swing and no bleediut, fuck this nope..

Sniper Sheva: 75% of the time, it works every time!
As for the TNT villagers, all I can say that I'm sure you've seen/heard plenty of times is to kite and abuse your invincibility frames. I think it bears repeating that going for a kick to take no explosion damage can and will save your ass.
Professional is a joke by the way, not in the ez way, but in the "this is retarded" way. At least Capcom knew that achievement whores didn't deserve to play on Professional on RE6. Or god forbid, No Hope.
That's Silent Hill in your signature, right?

Yeah, and by far my favorite it SH 3. Yeah I know of the I frames and everything, helps a lot in mercenaries, I think even in RE 5 one of the tips they give you tells you of the I frames. I also aboit a month ago got my hands on Rule of Tose and Haunting Grounds. Played Like an hour of Rule of Rose and about 30 minutes of Haunting Grounds. Great games, and I feel like Rule of Rose is VERY close to silent hill. Damn it's creepy. Plus I can't even decide what the plot is about. Something about a crash? Kids possibly dying? I dunno..

Rule of Rose is a mindfuck, try to avoid spoilers. As for Haunting Ground, all I know is:
1. Hey, it's that dog! 2. The main character has some big tits.

I'm itching to play some games when I come home for the weekend. Since the technician reformatted my SDD after I agreed for the unplanned upgrade to Skylake, the save files for Arkham City & Tomb Raider both had been lost. Crysis 3? Have replayed that game three times already. Same with part 1 of Halo SPV3. I'm just waiting for part 2 to come out now. I think I'll install FEAR 2 Reborn and replay that. Being an expansion, it won't take too long to finish that one.

Criminal Girls was the game that got skullfucked by censorship, right?
Also, Hujan, finish Arkham City. Or play literally any game but the Tomb Raider reboot. Fuck that game, holy cocks.

I guess. Doesn't affect the gameplay, so who cares?

You've played Tomb Raider? Is it that bad, gameplay-wise? Compared to Arkham City (I've reached Ra's al Ghul's Trial), I hadn't made much progress in Tomb Raider. So I yet to have any solid opinion regarding that game. This post has been edited by hujan86: Oct 19 2016, 18:08

Personally I thought TR (2013) was pretty good. The only thing that suck was the mid part of the game where it went from a survival game to a regular TPS game where you fight hordes of enemies with tons of ammo to spare. The combat was pretty fun at first where you mainly only have a bow and minimum gun ammo. You were more forced to use your environment and go for stealth kills. But eventually they shower you with tons of gun ammo and enemies to kill which got super boring pretty fast. Platforming and puzzle solving was pretty fun, but eventually they become more scarce to focused more on combat. Also I really enjoyed exploring the world. One of the few games where I actually bothered to find all the collectibles and secret areas after I have finish the game.

Yeah, but it seems consensus varies, as gigano showed. The shootan felt crappy and I hate how schizophrenic the game was, in terms of "okay, this is how I'm gonna play." Though, if you tolerate the game long enough to unlock the whole area, I'm sure it would be a pleasure to explore. I do not have said tolerance, as I'm sure is obvious. I still say play and finish Arkham City first, though. God I loved Arkham Asylum and City. I did play the others, besides Blackgate and VR, but Origins and Knight weren't as godly. Not bad, they were just meh and good, respectively. Nothing wrong with that, but in the grand scheme of things it could've been better.

+1 Seriously, what the fuck is Nintendo thinking with that switcher bullshit. Nobody wants to play with quasi-dedicated mobile consoles. That's why we have fucking phones and tablets for. Despite my previous comment,I recently bought a New 3DS and that's only because I had my eye on the new mario maker that's coming out, and all the good old school games I can play on it like Punch-Out, Super Castlevania, and Super Metroid to name a few. It just for nintendo fans and the young-uns, but everybody else is busy with their phone to care about the 3DS's and Vita's of the world.

Titanfall 2's sales fell short in the first week. Well then, whose brilliant idea was it to have it released alongside BF1? Give that guy a pat in the back. On a much more serious note, the developer should give it more time. Maybe with some good reviews by players, the sales will rebound.

The first one was awful, I don't know how in the fuck they managed to get funding for a second (third) one.
