One of the Overwatch cheaters' excuse was "It's 2016, cheating happens!" Using that logic & apply it elsewhere, Trump would become president via a rigged election, dopers would haul all the gold medals in the Olympics... A totally fucked up world that'd be.

Again, another bug-riddled game launched on the PC. Worst, it's a Batman game.

Updated CryEngine wasted on developing F2P titles. If F2P was so profitable, Crytek wouldn't have to need to sell their IPs or make a deal with Amazon. They had a chance to make Crysis what Halo is to the Xbox for the PC and they squandered it. They are better off bankrupt and cease to exist.

They should just continue developing Timesplitters 4 or just sell the IP. Although they are at least nice enough to give some fans their blessing to remake the first 3 Timesplitters aka "TimeSplitters Rewind".

The same reason they decided to discontinue the Crysis series, isn't it? 100% focus on F2P. "F2P is the future."

Out of nowhere Grandia 3 got released yesterday on the US psn store for the ps3. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) Weird day to release it on, but mainly surprised they didn't release it for the ps4 since all the latest ps2 classics were released on the ps4.

A shame that Grandia 3 is garbage, though.

True, but the problem with Timesplitters is that they bought Free Radical Design and the Timesplitters IP and teased they are planning to make TS4, but then ended up doing nothing it. They literally went all silent about it and then a few years later revealed they were never working on it despite them had show some concept arts of it when TS4 was teased.

Also to be fair with Crysis. As much as I love the Crysis series. I think the final game ended just fine and doesn't really need another one. Although I wouldn't mind if they make a spiritual sequel that uses the same game mechanics.

Never played it, since it never got released in Europe for ps2. Really liked 1 and 2, so at least I get a chance to play 3 now and judge it for myself. The only thing I know about 3 is apparently the story and english VA is garbage, but the battle system is really good.

It wasn't all that perfect though. The writing was good. The writers tried hard to make the plot sounded epic but overall the story felt rushed, too short and too simple. The Ceph in the end was just another typical alien invaders. Shock! Gasp! The Ceph's motive on Earth was invasion all along! Right... Then there was the cliches that is the hivemind and alpha boss. I was hoping for a deeper & complex story, after Crysis 2 implied that the antagonists had more sinister motives. Gunplay on the other hand was fun as it did in Crysis 2. But some of levels could have been executed better especially the part involving the assault buggy. Was it so hard to emulate the hovercraft chase in Crysis Warhead? Traveling over large distance in high speed, while avoiding from getting caught in a crossfire between two opposing forces was a thrilling experience for me. But in Crysis 3, the areas were all empty. A waste of space. Boring.

Oh, I was talking more about the game ending rather the entire game. Sure the story and level designs had some issues, but it was still overall enjoyable. The only minor problem I had with 3 is while the predator bow made playing stealth really fun, it also made the game super easy.

But the way the game ended was satisfying enough for me. Sure it was a simple ending and far from perfect, but it was good enough ending to the series. And sure they could continue the story about them continue their fight against CELL as shown in the post credit scene with Psycho, but I don't think that would be interesting.

Overall the only problem I had with the series is the lack of explanation about what happened during the time gaps between the games and the lack of connection between the games. The sequels just starts out of nowhere and doesn't really bother to explain why things happened or what happened to certain peoples or groups. For example what happened to Nomad? What happened to the Koreans and their nanosuits? Why did CELL all of a sudden become this world dominating evil organization.

I agree on that. The opening scene had me pumped up in anticipation of an epic showdown with CELL & the Cephs. The narrative in the closing scene was really well done as throughout the last two games, the writers gave Prophet a lot of characterization as they had done for Psycho in Warhead. It's really just the part in the middle that could've gone better.

They've released a comic book wherein the story took place between Crysis 1 & 2. Nomad along with Dr. Rosenthal died. The KPA? Yeah, after Crysis Warhead, those guys were completely forgotten. As for CELL, the only explanation offered was that they monopolized global energy sector through captured Ceph technology. That would turn them into a mega-rich corporation. But where they got the political power is beyond me.

My biggest question is how did the Alpha Ceph was captured by CELL in the first place? That thing is supposedly so powerful, it made the four "original" Ceph bosses in Crysis 2 look like henchmen. If the Ceph require a hivemind to operate as an organized miltary unit, then the Alpha Ceph must have already existed since the second game. The Cephs on Lingshan on the other hand was coordinated by the Ceph WarshipWarrior. How did the most powerful of all Ceph units was able to be captured by an incompetent PMC such as CELL?

Would have been nice if they mention it in the game. Although I do vaguely remember that there was a Intel in Crysis 3 where it said that Nomad was MIA after the events on Ling Shan island.

I have to assume the Alpha Ceph wasn't wearing its plot armor at that time. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) But yeah it's weird that they never mentioned how they manage to capture it even though they keep mentioning how powerful it is. I have to assume just by brute force and sacrificing a shit load of soldiers that they have bought around the world.

Also talking about original Ceph bosses. I was kind of disappointed that they never brought back the final boss from Crysis 1 the Ceph Warrior. I was kind of hoping there would be more of them around the world and some of them appear as a mini-boss protecting the Alpha Ceph.

Also never understood why the Ceph replaced the Hunters from Crysis 1 to the Pingers from Crysis 2 and 3. The hunters were so much superior than the pingers.

The term MIA makes the most sense, given that Nomad and Helena were killed by CIA. The US govt would never acknowledge its spy agency murdered its own people.

Or maybe a very large EMP bomb. Then again, if the Alpha Ceph could so easily be knocked out by EMP, then CELL just needed another EMP bomb rather than using the satellite death ray.

I don't remember Hunters having weak points like the Pingers. Maybe that's why they're hard to kill. I've had to to pump lots of, lots of rockets and grenades in order to kill them.

Puh-leez. DewRito shouldn't be blamed for Halo Online's shutdown. It was bound to happen sooner or later, hack or no hack, simply because it M$. They decisions & actions don't always follow any logic. If M$ was really serious about bringing at least the official multiplayer to PC, they wouldn't have locked the game only to one country.

Goddammit Nintendo!! You finally give me a reason to buy your nearly discontinued 3DS, so I can play Mario Maker on the go.... but you remove the ability to play community levels that are uploaded online thru your weakass miiverse... online.... whachumacallit?!?!

Way to kick your handheld fanbase in the balls, Nintendo.

But the Mario sports bundle makes up for it.... somewhat.

Custom game browser in Forge Halo 5 is a start. Still, it's a just small step forward as it does not make M$ less than a total asshole.
