This is why I only buy RPGs. At least there all you need to do is spend a few dozen hours grinding to unlock.. This is why I don't buy many video games. Especially ones published by Activision or EA.
Some JRPGs have DLC but I find it funny there when I look at Mugen Souls, Agarest War, Tales series. Costume DLC fine whatever but the game literally charges you for things you can get endless amounts of end game or with grinding.
Agarest War and Mugen souls are guilty of DLC for upgrade points and gear you can farm till your arms fall off end game. The dev team was banking on lazy people to pay to have the game played for them. Which is mind numbingly retarded when that is literally the only thing to do in the end game for players. So there are gamers out there that paid money to play a game then chose to pay the dev team to not play the game they bought.
Tales it's funny because you can buy money and levels. Which is just as retarded as above as in NG+ with grade you can set modifiers so you have more money and experience than you'll ever need. I can't see the mind set where people buy a game then pay the developers of that game to not play it.
that is cheating yourself out of gameplay and boring yourself in the process by being over powered.
Or you're one of those
Pro Agarest War players that paid $60+ to max stats right away so you could be the #1 player on the leaderboards. So that you have the imaginary hope of people that play single player games giving a fuck who you are.
