At this point Nintendo probably is the only one that can say their platform is made to, I don't know, to actually play games instead of being an ass multimedia device. They're just messing up in the game departments.
That's been their only problem since the N64, though.
“Goat Simulator brings next gen goat simulation to a whole new level. You no longer have to fantasize about being a goat, your dreams have finally come true. WASD to write destiny.”
Who the heck wants to be a goat? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) Maybe this game is about fulfilling the developer's dream. He may have fantasies about being a Man-Goat when he was a child, but his parents objected and he became a game designer instead. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
I've said it before and I'll argue it until I'm blue in the face.
Tetsuya Nomura has completely destroyed the Final Fantasy franchise single-handedly.
It does seem as he has taken up larger roles in FF games that they have become worse. He was heavily involved in all the FFVII spin offs, some which were quite crap.
He was heavily involved with FF type-0 which looks awesome... but Square-Enix has failed to release overseas... Its like they want FF to fail.
Just realize that in the next few weeks tons of rpg's are coming out. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) But I also hate it when tons of games I am interested in are all coming out around the same period. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

You can try buying the one you think you'd spend the most time on and then wait for the rest to drop in price?

Well, of course. I mean buying all of them at the same time is kind of pointless, seeing how you are playing only 1 or 2 at a time. But it's always such a dilemma having to make a choice on what to buy first. Especially when your interest on all the games are the same.
Can't tell which is worse in a 3-match game - racing against the clock or the limited of moves/turns. I wish there was a casual mode without time or move restrictions.
I think I'm one of the only people on the planet that fucking hates KBM gaming. It's antipodal to how I view games. A big problem is that I can't seem to find a way to use a keyboard and mouse and sit back and not have my gameplay suffer. Whereas with a controller or handheld it doesn't fucking matter, you can just melt into your chair, couch or bed and still be fine.
Looking like a fucking kid with scoliosis is the last thing I want in my life.

I think that preference very much depends on what you grew up with. Personally I spent time gaming on both PCs and on playstations as a kid so I'm fine with both. Except for FPS and racing games with a controller. That's fucking clunky as hell.

I don't think that's the case. A lot of friends I grew up with were console kiddies, but now they're more or less stick solely to PC.
^^^ That was actually the first review I checked out when I was thinking about this game. The only thing now that's keeping me from pulling the trigger on this game is the fact that it's online ONLY, and that fucking sucks...
After playing it for 40+ hours I can easily say Lightning Returns is the shittiest Final Fantasy since maybe Dirge of Cerberus. Good battle system and customization horrible story and cheap graphics. I'm already tired of playing and skipping through the last in-game days and sidequest to go straight to the end so I can get it over with. This is the first time I kinda regret buying a FF game. Square done really fucked it up.
