So, I hear everywhere that FFVI is considered to be either the best or second best game in the series. I'm playing it right now, I'm about 12 hours in, and I'm really wondering, if it's so fun, where's the fun going to start?
Thus far I would consider it to be the one of the blandest and glitchiest ones, having incredibly poor character development, and a rather odd balancing of the battle system with really boring fights as a result.

Really I'm hoping it's actually going to become good at one point or another. I'm preparing for major disappointment.
