As someone else said, flight controls. In using a mouse (or translating mouse movements to a stick) we think of forward as up and backward as down and that's mostly ok: we're just rotating the horizontal movement plane of the mouse 90 degrees to the vertical movement plane of the screen.
But in flight controls, it's not about 'forwards' and 'backwards', but rather about the action you're taking. Pushing is down and pulling is up.
Well fuck me... my old phat 40GB PS3 finally crapped out. It keeps giving me a solid red light when I turn it on. So... should I buy another PS3? Or wait for the PS4 instead?
I have to admit, reading that post was pleasing to me as well.
You two can suck my balls. How dare you kick a man when he's down, especially after his console's died on 'em... for shame!

Depends if there are ps3 games that you must collect. Or you can wait & see how things will turn out for PS4 with Gaikai online emulation.
I still have quite a backlog of PS3 games I haven't finished yet, so then I thought if I get a PS4, what good would that do me? The Gaikai emulation sounds like it'll follow the same business model that PSN has been using of making you buy the digital versions of older games. Either that, or do some monthly fee to play whatever amount of games they decide to offer at a time; but either way, that would render my PS3 discs obsolete on that particular console.
But I looked online and I found a good deal on a 500GB GTA V PS3 bundle for $270 on Newegg. And the great thing about Neweggs offering of this bundle, is that I get free shipping AND I get it tax free! So I look at this deal as getting the console and controller for $200, GTA V for $60, and the 500GB HDD for $10.

Good deal for the game & HDD space, but mind that the super slim console is created with cheap materials & there are lots of technical complaints (especially to freezing issues). I'm not trying to ruin the mood here, but before do anything hasty I strongly recommend to check some more info from the game forums, and from my experience the most reliable console is the 320gb version.

Just found Beach Head 2002 game CD I thought I misplaced. I haven't played this game for a long time.
Features as written on the back of the CD: - Unlimited levels of pulse-pounding action. - Non-stop hardcore shooting action that simulates the drama of military conflict - Photorealistic 3D graphics (No 3D Hardware Acceleration required) - Shell-shock inducing sound and special effects
What the game really looks like:
Features as written on the website: - Realistic physics and motions <<< I've seen missiles do 2 quick subsequent 90 degrees turn, planes occasionally diving in & out of the ground & vehicles going through each other - Smart troops and realistic soldier action (with sophisticated soldier animations) <<< Those soldiers are made of 2D sprites with the same dying animation every time - Blue-print precise realistic defender weapons <<< Really? - Blue-print precise realistic enemy weapons <<< Really? - Realistic battle sounds and special effects (Dimensional sound effects for distance and battlefield depth) <<< Really? - Diverse and specific ammo drops (bullets missiles and shells) <<< No obvious differences between AA Gun, Machine Gun & Gatling Gun & they use the same bullet crate - Unlimited levels and more variety of situations <<< Just 1 map, with different numbers & sequences of enemy waves - Full cause and effect with accumulative damage registration for true to life action <<< What?
Gave my little brother a 360 for his birthday, I'm so proud. Can't wait for him to want the Xbox One on launch.
Speaking of proud, I taught him how to hit the just frame patsuka twister and 1a:a:a in SCV. Can't block or tech worth a damn but he can hit a just frame so I'll call it a victory. 3rd grade I'll teach him how to play Guilty Gear, dreaming the big dreams.
Just got the 500GB PS3 bundle I talked about buying yesterday. And oh man, does it suck ass to have to redownload ALL my free PS+ games, updates, and game installs. Finally got done with all of that by this morning.
And as for that issue about the super slim PS3's freezing up, I bought a 3 yr. insurance plan just In case. So l'm covered there.
So, now I'm heading back to playing GTA V. This game is like digital crack...
Replaying P3:FES makes me appreciate playing P4 first. I am legit more terrified of my allies weaknesses being hit and them getting charmed than any threat any enemy has posed to me. The dancer in tartarus took me a solid 10 minutes not because it was hard but because Mitsu and Yukari loved charm healing it. The correct way to win was let them burn all their sp and get knocked out and revive them at the end to get exp.

Heh. CLOSE ENOUGH!
The funniest part is "Photorealistic 3D graphics (No 3D Hardware Acceleration required)". First thing that comes to my mind when I read that is, you know... photos.

You won't believe me but 2 days ago I've bought the digital classic from PSN & soon I'll replay it before P4G. I wish that Atlus would make another upgrade of P3 including the contents from the portable version (especially the free control on your teammates) but oh well, sometimes you must accept that you can't have everything ^^
Somehow I am shocked that the EU PSN is actually selling Disgaea d2 and Dragon's crown cheaper than the retail versions. Especially seeing how they usually sell most of their new titles for a higher price than the retails.
