Shhh, this statement will cause a mind-blowing epiphany to a person like dapanza. I am not sure if the poor soul is ready for this.
Oh, c'mon. Brains opinion of the game(s) I was talking about just surprised me, that's all. I'd just like to pick his brain a little and see WHAT exactly, he doesn't like about those games.
Who the hell is running that insane asylum of a company over at Nintendo?!
So Nintendo announced that they're coming out with a 2DS for $129.99, which is supposed to be $40 cheaper than the 3DS. What I don't get is, if the 3DS already has a slider on it so you can manually turn off the 3D feature, why make ANOTHER version without it as a stand alone product? Just to save $40?!
Man, that ship is sinking fast...
Edit: Here's the video of it:

Edit: What's the complaint about 2DS anyway? It's a downgraded version of 3DS for economic purposes, you don't like don't buy it.
It just doesn't make any sense for Nintendo to make a downgraded version of the 3DS, sans the 3D and the clamshell design. 3DS sales are doing pretty well at the moment, so to divert resources from doing things like... I don't know, getting more 3rd party companies to make games for the 3DS, they pull this idea from the well.
Seems that nintendo got excited with that awful wii U game pad & decided to expand it on ?DS.

Its less portable and they deliberately didn't fix the control scheme (eg second onboard analog stick) as that would be an advantage over the 3DS. Its a console designed to be inferior in every way, its a poor buy for parents as children will want the newer Nintendo console sooner negating the mere $40 the are cutting off. It also implies that nintendo acknowledges that the 3D is just a gimmick if you can easily throw the feature away.
