Never really cared that much about Fez, but it still seems like a very childish and immature reason to cancel the sequel because he is getting some heat from one person.

Well sure I know he gets ton's of hate from alot of people out there, but by one person I meant why he would take this one way more serious then all the others. Also, if he didn't know who Marcus Beer is and take some time to find out who is. He would have know that he is well known for bashing other people or other things in the game industry in a very crude way and even admitted himself that he can come over as a dick and asshole. It's one those people where you shouldn't feed the troll.

ADDENDUM: To expand, Phil Fish has spent the last three years being treated like he was literally Satan because of some of his (perfectly sound) views on the current climate of the video game industry, yet releases a perfectly fine, personal title he'd spent five years on that also gets trashed because of the comments he made, not because of the game itself.

Yeah, Fish comes off as a cocksucker and a loudmouth, but tell me who in the industry isn't a loudmouth, manbag oscillator, especially on the side of the consumer. Consumers, I might add, that almost entirely fucking suck at making informed decisions and don't play games to have fun anymore, require that someone else has the same amount of worthless, invisible, elite clout as they do, act exclusionary about their choice of entertainment medium within an already exclusionary medium, and treat everything way too seriously and think "mature" exclusively means blood and tits.

And really, would you want to come back to this?
