I was watching Adam Sessler's Youtube channel because he had a video review for God of War: Ascension, and towards the end of the review, he got REALLY pissed about something that happens at the end of the game. Spoiler alert:

Kratos beats the shit out of some female boss, kicking her face in apparantly. What a surprise...

So Adam then goes on about how fucked up that was, I guess - but THAT wasn't even the main reason he got so pissed off. What really set him off, was that there's a trophy you get after what Kratos does above, called "Bros Before Ho's". And he just totally ripped on the developers or whoever's idea it was to put that trophy in the game, calling them things to the effect of having a fratboy like mentatilty and being juvenile.

I don't know why, but that really surprised me that he would get THAT upset about this. It sounds to me like he witnessed something or maybe knew someone who was involved with domestic violence, and that surfaced in that review.

I just think he kind of over did it with those remarks, but I stil respect the hell out of that man and his opinions.

El Shaddai is probably one of the most interesting looking games I've played in a long, long time.

But, I was able to use what I bought, got what I wanted with it, and succeeded in doing something that technically isn't meant to be done, so I'm going to count this as a success.

So SimCity 2013 just came out and apparently requires an always-on internet connection, saves to the cloud, and has been having massiver server issues due to EA derping their shit again. Well, there goes that. I guess I won't be playing it until they fix this shit, if ever.

Now that I actually bought El Shaddai when it was on sale for $3.00 I'll actually get around to playing it. I remember not liking the demo though because a blonde dude in hot pants purifying everything struck me as the wrong type of statement. That and I found the combat dull and repetitive but I'm almost fairly certainly I wasn't giving it much chance.
