Not if it requires you to constantly be connected to the Internet in order to play, and forces you to buy a monthly membership as well, in addition to you having absolutely no control of your own content, where you can get bricked completely just because some douchebag thousands of miles away decides to be an asshole. Also, I abhor the idea of putting the security of my persons and possessions in the hands of others. Face it, these companies are just butthurt that they lost against the "Law of First Sale" in court, and are trying to circumvent the rights of the people to be secure in their possessions using other underhanded and shady tactics. Clearly they don't realize that some series would never have become as popular as they have if it weren't for the used game industry, as I'm sure many games wouldn't get so much as a glance if people had to pay 60$ or more to try it out. Many gamers aren't from wealthy families, and don't have high disposable income, so they would be getting shut out of the market, which would make new consoles a privelege for the elite, and so sales would suffer as a result. It's all because of their false logic that , which is false because of the fact that the people buying the game used are likely doing so because they were never going to pay full price to begin with, so you lost no sales. They also think they'll make more money by punishing these people when, again, that is nothing but greed speaking, and they think that

But in fact, they would actually be providing a driving force for hackers to break their insufficient security mechanisms and pirate the game over the Internet, which they would damn well deserve. What's next after forcing people to buy a game that has an activation code and forcing them to be connected to the Internet; forcing the consumer (People who paid good money for a product, Which by law they OWN), to go to designated locations in order to play the games they bought?

Well it was supposed to be obvious, most companies of some power try to do that kind of shit, otherwise they just get "stuck". "Earning" several millions but without "growing" (getting more moneys than last year).

Now when those companies manage to get massive power trips (Such as in games and technology sectors) shit hits the fan in a fashion similar to that of an orwellian novel.

I'm pretty sure most people that buy used games don't do it to be cheap bastards every time. Consoles are luxury items in and of themselves not counting game costs. I buy used because I can't afford that shit new everytime and it makes little sense in a market dominated by multiplayer games that die in a year or less.

Not to say that'd stop me from getting a console or game but expect poverty life to limit my interests or supporting communities severely Besides game industries devs can get upset all they want claiming to be robbed but they don't deserve it. Once you give up ownership of an item to a buyer what they choose to do with their property is up to them. You couldn't claim you deserve a cut of the sale of my used car because you sold me it new and games are no different. Someone bought the original item, you got your cut, either make a better sale or get retailers to give you a cut. (Ya know, the one you don't deserve. Or ya know, buyback your used games and sell them to customers if the sales seem that good to you.)

Just finished Conker's Bad Fur Day. And I gotta say... WOW. That game is going straight into my "best games I've ever played" list.

Good news, the Xbox was a piece of useless shit anyway because microsoft has had its head stuck up its arse for years. As soon as they launched the 360 they stopped making Xbox games and practically cut all support for it, which pissed people off. The 360 had an inferior disc system, as discussed in that link, and the RRoD was entirely the manufacturers fault. They shipped a broken, lesser console to make a quick buck, and it's now used primarily by 12 year olds and college guys to play CoD games, which are panned by anyone not being paid to say otherwise. Oh, and let's not forget that microsoft is a western company, so we all know that money is king there. The PS4 will probably be better, if not in policy then in being a better system in itself with better games, and a more dedicated community.

Played Arcana Hearts for a bit, it's a tad difficult but I enjoyed it. Beat the Story mode with Fiona and Arcade with Saku and got the highest score. Go go Saki :3

I really wish Fire Emblem let you turn on animations for just one battle at a time the way the Super Robot Wars games do. Also, why the heck do the Awakening characters all have Liefield feet when drawn in 3D?

Hasbro is basically trying to kill off the male fanbase at this point. What they don't seem to realize is that the number of GIRLS that are within their 'expected viewer age' is like 20% of the viewers. Basically they're trying to kill the show and bringing down as many fan things as they can is the way to go. I'm waiting to hear the Double Rainboom and Ponyvania get C&Ds next.

Fuck, reminds me I might be able to play it now that I have a VM all set.

Crashed at startup on both Windows 7 and the good ol' XP rig with 256MB RAM regardless of workarounds that didn't involve messing with the game.
