Alpha Protocol Sale on Steam. Buy or not?

Street Fighter 25th anniversary tournament underway today, should be a lot of fun. Wish I had the money to head out to LA, got the time but I sure as hell don't have the cash.

Oh and @supergang: I suppose Alpha is worth a look if you aren't paying a lot of money for it because people liked the dialogue system and story to a certain degree. Also on that note some people liked the areas of specialization and your character isn't a trained sniper from the get go so make of that what you will. Everything else though everyone seems to bash and what parts of the game I have seen weren't impressive on release and aren't impressing me now.

Then again I follow the principle the $$$ I spent vs. The fun I had = whether a game is worth purchasing or not. I honestly hate DA2 way worse than Origins but when you spend $8, it's worth the purchase price. Probably comes down to your perspective if the game is worth as much to you as a dinner at Ruby Tuesday or Red Robin.

It's worth ten dollars. It's kind of fun but you run into typical glitchy Obsidian bullshit regularly.

Well yes That kind of sucks they fucked over the darkness part.

Hell I found and played my Doom 3 for just old Xbox today.

There are better ways out there to prevent abuse and "it's free now, but things might will change in the future" does not make me want to take the slightest risk for a game that hasn't been patched since 2002.

I love how they placed 11 Sec-Cameras in the area right before you have to fight Leon (or your teammates). It took me over an hour of trial and error before I was finally able to just break through the line of V-ACTs and Spec-Ops and Sniper Rifle Fag. I ended up realizing that I done fucked-up in choosing Lupa's Incendiary Bullets Greater Power instead of her Super Soldier one, as that would have saved me a lot of damage.

I found out that my previous gamer profile was fucked in the ass by the fact that, in Mission 10 of Lost Planet, on Extreme Mode, when I explicitly went through the checklist of Target Marks, grabbing each of them, the game always failed to count one of them. On Sunday, when I re-cleared the stage, I obtained the Blizzard Explorer achievement (on Extreme). Since that obstacle is out of the way, and I now have all Target Markers on Extreme Mode, I might just get the Extreme Pioneer (or whatever) achievement... someday.

Hints?! Who the hell goes to Gamefaqs for hints about games anymore. All I cared about regarding GF's temporary shut down was that I couldn't use their forums. That's my go to site when it comes to discussions about sports.

On other fronts I feel kind of bad playing AE online after Snake Eyes won at SF 25th because everyone and their mother is starting to pull pocket giefs when I play Sagat a lot of the time. I think people keep missing the part of picking a character that someone wins a major with has something to do with them being a good player. That is to say Latif could probably pick Rose and do well for himself but everyone else should stick to their meat and potatoes.

So Xbawks finally has a web browser. And it's not completely fucking awful like Playstation's.
