Actually found someone that I could play Daemon Bride with. Not the best competition but I appreciate anyone that can play some of the fighters that I do. I never get to enjoy all my games vs. people because finding the players is rough after EVO. Did find some CvS2 players and Tekken 3 guys so that was good. And one girl that played vanilla Arcana Heart.

I totally sort of play Arcana. 1 and 3, at least.

Wait, Daemon Bride? How? Far as I know, that never got a console release. Is there a cracked copy of it for PC, or did someone actually bring a cab to EVO?

And somewhat-related, do you play anything on GGPO? I've been getting the urge to download it and try it out.

PC rip, which wasn't easy to find at all. Got it back in early 2011 when a friend who was smarter than I was digging up stuff online came across it. Yeah the fact it never got any version other than the japanese and arcade release kind of annoys me. I'd like to play Additional Gain if I ever get the chance. But I got it for free so, can't argue with free.

I actually ran into the Daemon Bride player because I was playing it on my laptop and bam we got a dude that plays. He taught English in Japan for awhile so had a chance to play Daemon in the arcades. I need to do that more often as a means of just finding players that like some of the older games. 1. Laptop. 2. Public Area. 3. The waiting game. I'll be like those writers or artists that only make or do things when someone else is watching.

As for GGPO I do play on it but not as often as some people do. If I do play on GGPO I'll usually hit up KOF 98 or some MHvC. It's one of your best options for playing classic fighters especially once you find a sparring buddy or the right group. (Though in some cases depending on where you live you can read that as only option.)

@Dapanza we're close knit but it's really a matter of what games you play. You'll be more hard pressed for a Daemon Bride partner or Tekken 3 crew even for me East Coast. I have no shortage of 3rd strike, KOF 98, Mark of the Wolves, and Marvel 2. It's a mixture of your state and what game. I couldn't make it five feet in my arcade without someone that knows Marvel 2 and plays like that game has never stopped being around. I should have placed emphasis on the every game that I play. I can't think of too many people that play every fighter that I do. 12+ fighters at any time is tiresome, IE why pros don't have the time to play every new fighter release.

Just bought Bioshock 1&2 for €9.99. Never played them before, but I've heard great things.

edit: I'm looking at the current price for the two and it's €19.99. Dunno how I pulled that one off. I hope it wasn't some glitch on Steam and they're gonna subtract another €9.99 from my wallet afterwards.

I really need to get cracking on that Assassins of Kings. This time I'll be helping the revolution so I don't know if I'll be able to make the choice to let Roche kill the enemy King or not, but I definitely love seeing royal heads on the chopping block. Fuck monarchs, their worthless crowns, and the thrones they sit on.

Just bought Thief;Deadly Shadows and Borderlands GotY. I'll no doubt be getting Star Wars Battlefront 2 before the sale ends, amongst other things. Also, a friend was lovely enough to gift me L4D2.

Spent some time teaching my younger cousins how to play KOF 13. Not the fastest learners but 8-12 year olds shouldn't be. They did learn how to anywhere juggle with Ex supers and counter hit anti-airs though so there is that.

I will be proud of myself the day I can teach one of them the butt loop with Yuri. It teaches you everything you need to know in the FGC.
