Too bad it's another crap-ass subscription based MMO.

If it's any good, I wouldn't see an issue shelling out $15 bucks a month for it, I suppose. But my experience with games like the Dreamfall series and Age of Conan make me a bit skeptical of how fun it would be.

I used to pay monthly for an MMO. Then I wised up.

QUOTE(joseph joestar @ Jul 7 2012, 02:15) That looks pretty cool. I hope that it's faster paced like the Gundam games rather than slow as shit like Ken's Rage (although I still have a place in my heart for that game). Assuming they don't fucking region lock it (fuck you, Atlus for setting a precedent) I'll probably pick up a copy from Zavvi, thanks to Sony's new policies.
What a coincidence, I just got Ken's Rage for my birthday. Slow as fuck, but addicting game. (maybe it's because I chose extreme in violence level?) As for One Piece PW, is definitely faster. The gameplay looks promising ^^ P.S: God bless Sony (for now...) This post has been edited by BrainSucks: Jul 7 2012, 10:44

The pace is my only issue with the game - it's still fantastic and all I could have hoped for in a Hokuto game. My favorite Fist of the North Star game is still the PSX game from Bandai - if you've ever got the chance to check it out on an emulator or whatever, do so! The Saint Seiya PS3 game is pretty cool but it relies heavily on parrying, and you can't grind like you can in any of the Musou/Warriors games, so that sucks. Off-Topic, I'm actually looking forward to the new Jojo's Bizarre Adventure game (and TV anime series) from Namco Bandai / Cyberconnect. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8xDDqwcBqww...;feature=relmfu

I wasn't aware of this game, I'll give it a try (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif) QUOTE(joseph joestar @ Jul 7 2012, 14:51) The Saint Seiya PS3 game is pretty cool but it relies heavily on parrying, and you can't grind like you can in any of the Musou/Warriors games, so that sucks.
Never got interested with the anime. And to be honest, I feel the same way for the PS3 game :/ QUOTE(joseph joestar @ Jul 7 2012, 14:51) Off-Topic, I'm actually looking forward to the new Jojo's Bizarre Adventure game (and TV anime series) from Namco Bandai / Cyberconnect. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8xDDqwcBqww...;feature=relmfuI love it already <3 It's sad that the two PS2 games never got localized. Let's hope Namco (bandai) will make it up with this one.

No official answer, but apparently it wasn't even released on DVD in Japan after its roadshow theater run. The urban legend goes that Hirohiko Araki hated it and they put it in the vault. It makes sense to me, since he seems to know a lot about being in the closet (rimshot). QUOTE(BrainSucks @ Jul 7 2012, 12:43) I wasn't aware of this game, I'll give it a try (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif) It's kind of like a Final Fight game, but with Parappa the Rapper -style kill move inputs. It has a neat feature where the baddies say something different depending on what syllable you stopped them on...hard to explain but once you see it, it's kinda a neat detail. I really, really want to play Ken's Rage 2; I know it's going to feature Hokuto no Ken 2, but it would be great if they could get Devil's Rebirth into the game kind of like those giant boss fights in the Gundam games. It's cool. I wouldn't recommend it for non-fans, although it's a pretty awesome game for fanservice and a pretty solid game. Unfortunately you have to be on your toes all the time and can't just fuck around after a busy day with it, hence me not playing it so much (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif). Same here, man. The Capcom game based on Part V was pretty good; Phantom Blood not so much (really terrible camera and controls)...that one made me sad. The Naruto fighting games are pretty solid licensed games, so hopefully the new Jojo game will be pretty fun too. They'll make it look pretty good at least.

I think I liked Xenoblade Chronicles better when I was just being an errand boy for about five hours straight.

Being a werewolf in Morrowind sucks so bad. And vampires aren't much better either.

Damnit, beat me to it. The best part in the game is when Reyn says he can't understand someone with a normal accent. When you get to the Ewok Nopon Village you will have more fetch quests than you know what to do with. Also don't forget to go back to Colony 9 using the map jump, there's some pretty decent shit there.

The game is designed so fucking well that I don't want to be bothered with a story. Just let me loose and allow me to play until I die of old age.

Yeah, I've been both in Morrowind... Werewolf is more annoying, but vampire can be bad as well. It's hard as fuck if you're trying to stay within the confines of the law. The benefits aren't even all that great at all... Being either one in Daggerfall actually had good advantages and ways to control the disadvantages.
