Cervantes and Talim usually are my choice fighters. Cervantes in that he is a cheap ass with his moves and Talim because she's crazy unpredictable with her moves list if you're just mashing buttons. Taki's a close third.

Also, I fucking miss those crazy ass blade shoes you can use on your custom character in SC3.

Only if you like or want to play as the additional characters. From my (shitty at fighters) standpoint it hasn't been made any more accessible, or any easier to input combos. It's still kind of fun to fuck around with and see the goofy endings though.

One fighting game that was a fucking bitch was Weaponlord on the SNES/Genesis. That game was nothing BUT a nightmare for non-tournament-level gamers (which is probably why it bombed ass).

It's kind of one of those things once you know it, you can do it. Like riding a bike. Once you have the internal clock it comes second nature. Some people are rhythm fighters and they just do it by sounds, I time it. My cousin just rhythms shit out on his arcade stick. Once you get good you can play songs or input other random things while you wait for the next input.

The Apprentice can be a bitch for characters you're not used to playing. Yoda's only gimmick was his height and that wasn't enough to keep me from clowning his ass. Never did download Vader, because 800 MS Points isn't worth dropping on that motherfucker.
