D3 is probably going to be my game of the year, to be honest.

QUOTE(radixius @ Jun 13 2012, 14:41) I guess, but I think the problem I have is no so much that people are complaining as this is the internet and everyone is human and therefore stupider than all fucking get out, but rather that they do so in such a way that makes it seem like the company came to their house personally and killed their cat.
And raped their mother.

QUOTE(SRK Yun @ Jun 13 2012, 15:56) Also finally switched my team in KOF13 to Mr. Karate, Ash, and Claw Iori. Kind of happy with the change too, I like the way the team works. Mr. Karate hits like a grown ass man and then Ash is honestly a bad character but combos for days. Then back to Iori and hitting like a grown ass man. I might try Beni some more when I get the chance, there isn't much in 13 he can't do. Kind of like picking Shen, you really can't go wrong.
Ash is bad now? I thought he was considered pretty strong? and lol Shen QUOTE(SRK Yun @ Jun 13 2012, 20:04) Coyori is the only one I honestly like & Urs/Ashley I just enjoy because they are fun to play as for me.
No love for Watson? Watson seems like a boss. SRK Yun, you seem like a pretty cool fightan person. Any thoughts on the recent stuff that's come out? SkullGirls? Persona 4 Arena? I'm really a wannabe fighting game player, but it's mainly because I live outside of a competitive area and my internet is too crappy to do netplay, ignoring how bad netplay is in general.

I only need one Co-op achievement before I have 100% of them. Beat Diablo in Inferno co-op. FML. My roommate and I tried for a few hours but the farthest we made it was his last phase and that breath attack is just absolutely brutal in Inferno.
I really want to have at least one bar at 100%. The next closest thing is Campaign achievements, which are sitting at 96% and will be stuck that way until Blizzard fixes their game or takes out the two dungeons that never spawn and that one piece of lore that never drops, preventing any player from having 100% Campaign achievements. Challenges are at 80% but there's no way in hell I can beat any of the bosses in Hell difficulty with no equipment. I'm just going to wait for Blizzard to realize that their naked achievement is a bit stupid and frankly unobtainable. Overall I'm sitting at 72% and the game has only been out for about two months, but I'm sure it will take me years to actually obtain the hardest ones.

The one I'm liking the most of in terms of fighting games right now is Skullgirls but that that is personal taste really. It's really a game that rewards execution, good set ups, and being able to react. The patch took out some of the combos that went on for days so it's more reset heavy like MvC2 even though the barrier skill level is fairly high. If you can't hit links or memorize your combos you are fucked in a lot matches in that game because your execution and set ups are everything.
P4A/U I haven't had any time to really sit down and play or watch much of so I can't really say anything about it. Since I am a fan of BB & GG I expect it'll be solid and fun for the most part. I'd have more thoughts about it but I'd rather hold off until I get the game myself.
VF5FS is great if you're into 3-D fighters, I'll admit VF is a more execution based 3D fighter but if you work at it you can enjoy it as much as anything else out there. If we were just going off entry level skills you could go.
P4A > SG > VF5 Mid-High level play it kinda goes: SG > VF5 > P4A Though I'd ask someone else about 3D fighters because I am more skilled at 2D ones and hardly play 3D. (Relatively speaking anyway.)
If you can't get a scene where you are just getting a close group of 2-4 players you always play against is what online was made for. Once you find a sparring buddy it is the best thing you can do as a fighting game player online. I wouldn't have played BBCS so much if it wasn't for a pal that I played against for years and we kept getting better and better. Having a strong group offline/online that learn as you do keeps things going.
As for Ash, he is good for a charge character but he doesn't really excel at anything except for his combos. No one in KOF is bad really but there is things your character can not do or their weaknesses are obvious. It's like the difference between Ash and Beni. Ash can do what Ash does charging and being decent or if you have meter combo for days but not anything else. Benimaru can do anything you want him to do really and his offense is excellent. It's not a matter of bad in KOF so much so as how well your character excels. A lot of the cast does way more than Ash without the meter dependence of Ash and with easier execution if that is a concern for you.

LOL I thought I was the only one with the broken Inferno Diablo fight. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PN8x64c6gsI...feature=relatedEven in the Wizard subforums I can't find any mention of the bug where if you teleport away from Diablo's fireball, the fireball teleports with you and hits you regardless, something that doesn't happen with ANYTHING else in the game. I mean, what would be the whole point of teleport in the first place?

Bought Lollipop Chainsaw, this game is wrong in all the right ways. Just the right amount of cheese and references to make a guy happy. Oh I get a little tired of all the QTEs and stuff but some of them are just right and so much fun.
The Hokuto no Ken & Stripper pole sequence in the school were great. Love this game, must play more. Time to nerd out like Tasty Steve when he saw the white power ranger in the ghetto.
Also, WTF is up with that D3 video, those are either some of the most broken hitboxes ever designed or that shit was poorly tested. Needs more play testing.

After receiving millions of complaints from enraged fanboys, Blizzard has given an official statement that those hitboxes are working as intended and that they were made as such in order to add challenge to the fight mechanics... In other words, make shit retardedly hard so you have to rely more on luck than skill to survive. I used to think I sucked at that Inferno Diablo fight but I've seen a lot of videos of horrible hit boxes with this boss in specific and I feel better now knowing it's not just me. I am curious to check it out, but I let my little sisters borrow my PS3 a while ago and I refuse to play anything on the Xbawks that is not an exclusive.

So much negativity for SFxT I've seen so far. Utterly disgusting. I refuse to play anymore Tekken Tag Tournament 2 till it comes out on consoles.
Getting wrecked by all those Japanese dudes because of broken buttons in the arcade store really makes it really annoying execution wise for me while they can cope with all that button malfunction shit. Them boys really know how to work around that shit. Either that or Bob is immune to bad button pressing...
More fighting games need Skullgirls netcode because I refuse to play that game. SC 5 needs fixing, more players need to keep playing AE, and less scrubs on MK9.
Oh and BB needs to stop with those ridiculous DLC prices, sure I can afford that shit no problem, but I still can't get over 7 dollars for one character and even more money for just for a different commentator. The fuck those niggas been sippin' on?
TL;DR: There needs to be less scrubs online and smarter developers for fighting game netcodes.

Pray tell. Oh and I'm not starting a hardcore character until Blizzard solves their server problems. Shit lags a lot sporadically throughout the day. I already die a lot from lag on normal, I'd hate to lose all my progress on hardcore due to lag.

Well, they are ranged classes (referring to DH WD and Wiz), so I don't see what's stupid about it. The point is to not get hit.

Argh, I bought it, and it's sitting right next to me, but I promised some friends I would play it while they're around. You're killing me, here. QUOTE(Trapstar102 @ Jun 17 2012, 06:10) So much negativity for SFxT I've seen so far. Utterly disgusting.

People don't like SxT? Oh, I can't imagine why, amongst the complaints on gems, poor move design choices, and silly bugs. What's the complaint with SkullGirls? I'm legit curious, because I haven't been following it closely; I watched week 1 and 2 footage and haven't remembered to check back into it lately. BB DLC is... maybe a little pricier than it ought to be, but not by that much, imo. 5-6 bucks for a completely new character, additional voiced dialogue, a new theme, and a new stage isn't exactly highway robbery when you're a fighting game player. 7 is a bit much, but it isn't totally unreasonable. As for the different announcer voices, they're, y'know, optional and don't really add or detract anything from the gameplay. It's just aesthetic choice, so why does it matter to you? I'm personally more annoyed at ArcSys selling 'unlock codes' for the hidden characters, as that does directly have a negative effect on the community (if you're a Mu-13 player, for example).

Don't get me wrong, I adore it, since it's so stupid fun.
