Why are final bosses always so fucking lame? Of all bosses in the game they're the easiest... and that may mean ridiculously easy. I've just beaten a final boss in like 5 seconds. To make it even worse, youtube suggested this depressing video to me. And that's just one example. Really, the heck is up with that? I want an ultimate fight between good and evil to be at least a little fucking challenging...
If you haven't played Persona 3 yet, its last boss is what you are looking for.
I can't think of an epic last boss fight. I can think of a lame one though; Dead Space. The game was fun, but that last boss was disappointing.
Onto Diablo news: I made another million gold on the auction house today and found myself a very nice upgrade. I can breeze through every single thing on Act I, I can do all the bosses on Act II, and I am almost done with Act III. Azmodan is no fucking joke on Inferno, especially if all of your resists are below 80%. Speaking of resists, that's what the end game gear has come down to. Well, that and your class primary stat. I had to sacrifice a lot of attack speed pieces for more intel and resists to be able to survive getting hit. It now takes me two hits to die ~yay~

What games do you play? (and for that matter, which boss went down in 5 seconds?) Final bosses I remember being challenging in no particular order include...
Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles, any Etrian Odyssey game, any Monster Hunter, No More Heroes, Zone of the Enders, Alundra, Arc the Lad 2, most 'Tales of' bosses on the Hardest difficulties, Threads of Fate, Silhouette Mirage, etc, etc.
If you want challenging RPG bosses, Atlus RPGs are usually the best way to go. As for action games, well, it's pretty hit-or-miss.
Wonder if I should feel bad if I nuke the whole field in FFT and have a guy mime the nuke to win?
Haha, no. Can't take x2 Calc Flare to the face you're weak, buff up next time. I like that calculator mime is a legit way to win in FFT with the right gear.
When do you start getting dyes and whatnot? Is that a co-op only thing?
Act II normal and from that point on in every act and further difficulty you'll have a vendor that sells dyes. The vendor in act II that has the dyes is a fat merchant by bridge to the city gates. I colored my female wizard all pink and she looks lovely. It's not a co-op only thing.

I was going to rock all pink, too. But I might go for the Fuschia. Do you have to recolor everything afterward, or does it color the slot permanently?
You can recolor a piece as many times as you want. Also, if you have a female character and are turned on by moving pixels, you can use the invisible dye that renders that piece of armor invisible, thus sporting a near naked chick. Unfortunately you can't dye legendaries so I get to keep my ugly ass skull mask on my female wiz... The mask didn't look right with everything else pink so I went ahead and dyed it with Abyssal Dye. That is an inferno only dye, but its basically a cool looking black and gold.
EDIT: Diablo III should add the option to not show helmet, like in WoW. Would be neat.

Good thing Legendaries aren't supposed to be the best gear in the game.
Best helmet I've found so far, but a higher intel with all resists would be nice. Rares have a possibility of being better than legendaries if they roll high stats. The really bad thing thing is that all gear, even set pieces, have random stat rolls when they drop. For example my Andariel's Visage is actually supposed to be a strength piece but I got intel and vitality on mine when it dropped, and when I check the auction house I never see an intel one. I just got really lucky. Then there are set pieces that are built specifically for certain classes that have ridiculous stats. For example my roommate has found two level 60 set pieces for a monk and demon hunter that rolled intel and strenght instead of dexterity. I also grimace when I find a really nice one-handed wizard wand with strength. Shit pisses me off.
I should really hook up my PC more often when friends are over and play Some MvC1 and Vampire Savior or VF2. I just never bother to set things up when people come over. But then again between all my systems and games we aren't for a lack of stuff to play.
Might set up a weekend game bash if I have the time, some Jak and Daxter speed runs, Mario Kart 64, Megaman X series no damage runs. Actually, I am digging this, this will happen. YO VIDEOGAMES!
