QUOTE(TotalWhittle @ May 30 2012, 20:34) It's a shame? I don't think so, I think I prefer it that way. The fewer games out there that advertise Breaking Benjamin, the better.
I was being facetious, but your point is a most valid one.

How I wish I had a Trapezohedron. Also how poorly the various ores sell for in contrast to how much they cost to buy. They should sell for no less than 50% of their retail value, yet Dark Matter only sells for about 1/87 of store cost.

Your analogies leave much to be desired.

I think Blizzard could do some things better with Diablo III, but I still play it because the fun it provides me outweighs the few flaws. Still, I will bitch about them occasionally: *Limited to 4 players *Auction House upgrades are a must to progress in Inferno, unless you have good friends that give you great gear for free (like me). *The 'randomization' is not very random at all. I would say most dungeons and outdoor areas have about 5 possible layouts and they get randomly selected from there, and even from that small pool the layouts are not very different. It is no longer truly random like in DII. *Servers are fucking horrible. Lag and disconnects abound. It's not a big deal when you're under 60 and on the three low difficulties (I never thought much about it then), but losing that Nephalem Valor buff when you have a few stacked on in Inferno really fucking sucks.
Yeah, a few flaws, but overall I enjoy the game much more than I would any other game in the market right now. Except for when I get an awesome wizard's wand with strength and dexterity...

I never used Rutee. I always gave Atwight to Philia and popped offensive spell disks into that sucker.
Jesus Christ I love Tales of Destiny.

Wow. I guess it pays off to be kind. I was showing a level 60 monk where to farm, how to exploit certain things (you have to resort to exploits on Inferno in order to gear, unless you want to spend millions on upgrades at the auction house), and helping him down bosses throughout the acts so he could have most of the waypoints. At the end of it all I even opened my chest and gave him some good level 60 rares for a monk and wished him farewell. He told me to hold on and gave me two items that he said would surely be better than what I had on. Holy fuck did they help. My DPS only went up a little but my armor went up and my life more than doubled, plus lots of resistances and passive benefits. I guess it was an even trade since I gave him enough upgrades worth around 1 million gold. Still, it felt nice.

Watched some Offcast stream Max Payne 3 & it actually looks kinda fun. I heard good things but I don't really play shooters much anymore. If you consider playing Black Ops, Reach, and BFBC2 not "much" anymore.
Cousin has a copy, might just go bug him one weekend and try playing through the game.

It's too bad the original game was so piss-easy. The whole 'Swordian Disc' system they initially had would have allowed for an interesting battle mechanic, but the AI was so lethargic you could just have Stahn walk up to everything and tap Attack and barely ever get hit.

Damn I miss that game. I played the crap out of it...until Xenogears came out and I didnt leave my room except to eat, use the bathroom and shower. Last thought? I'm glad I boycotted Diablo III because of its "online-only" status, $100 says that was Activisions's call and not Blizzard (regardless of what Blizzard says publicly). and the taco i'm eating is delicious.

Go ahead and guess how furious I was that the remake wasn't released stateside. I don't have the resolve or wherewithal to find isos for it and the only PS2 emulator I have sucks considerable nutbag even though it's supposed to be the best one.

Any European in here who wants to be my sparring partner in SSF4 AE (PS3 and/or PC)? Currently training for a local tournament.
America might work (I've seen guys with green bars all over) but it's a big might.

Why are final bosses always so fucking lame? Of all bosses in the game they're the easiest... and that may mean ridiculously easy. I've just beaten a final boss in like 5 seconds. To make it even worse, youtube suggested this depressing video to me. And that's just one example. Really, the heck is up with that? I want an ultimate fight between good and evil to be at least a little fucking challenging...

Too many designers think uping a boss's(and all enemies) health or defense is a good way to make them harder when all it really does is slow down how fast you can kill them. They should make them smarter or give them some new power or ability on hard mode instead.
