Stop playing a MMORPG for a little while couple years, come back to check for new stuff ; everyone and their dogs is at maximum level and shit is all changed.

Happens with almost every game. There's only one I left for six years and old players still had lame skill levels when I got back, mostly because the experience curve was ridiculously steep and skills required real monies. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

I will never forget about this game....

Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 is going to be announced at Comic-Con. Who was the one saying that was going to come out? I can't remember who it was but I'm pretty sure it was ME! I'd revive that thread to rub it in someone's face, but it's dead for a reason.

Because there was a time in gaming history when a lot of "add-ons" would be things you unlocked. Big story extensions and whatnot aren't usually the things people complain about, it's more characters, costumes and map packs that usually get in people's craw.

In MvC3's case, by making Jill & Shuma-Gorath as dlc it was unacceptable
since they already were available before the game release >_<

Tried the El Shaddai demo and just didn't find it all that interesting. The simplest battles took too long and it just felt like it was style over substance.

Tried the Catherine demo and wasn't too keen on it either. The reviews tell me I'm dead wrong and a part of me says I'd probably like it since a Megaten game hasn't really been a disappointment yet, but I just can't force myself into taking the plunge on it. Maybe bargain bin material way down the line but even then I'd be remiss.

As for what I'm playing, well I'm pretty much dabbling in a bunch right now. Burnout Paradise, Portal 2, Marvel vs Capcom 3, Shank, Deathspank: Thongs of Virtue and Dead Space 2.
