Genesis had some seriously awesome action games as well. Target Earth was badass.

Genesis had a lot of great games. There's a plethora of cult classics in that 900+ game library.

Gunstar Heroes was king. Fuck all of your shit.

Not an RPG, but arguably the best run and gun game for the Genesis.

Contra Hard Corps and Alien Soldier are other good action games of a similar vein, although they're essentially boss rushes.

Loved CHC. Didn't care for Alien Soldier despite it being by the same company who did Gunstar Heroes.

I had a Genesis. I don't even remember what games I had on it.

I've never had a Genesis. I went straight from SNES to Praystation and then stopped the whole experience because I lost faith.

Yeah. It's only been ported onto the Dreamcast PS2, PS3, Xbox, 360, Gamecube, Wii and available to anyone capable of using an emulator.

I liked the series mostly because the music was fairly badass. The gameplay is alright, I can actually beat the game now than when I was a kid. It just wasn't one of those games I remember fondly enjoying.

Had a blast playing KOF13 online using Hwa Jai and Chin on the same team. Had Iori on anchor just in case but it is fun as hell to play team drunks.
Chin taking a sip of that Chardonnay.
Hwa Jai drinking that Goose. Drink super through projectile and proceed to have a ball. I always try to have fun with the characters I pick given the chance.

Thinking about running an all female team next time I play online. Probably Yuri for the butt loop, Mai because boobs are never a bad thing, and Elisabeth to keep it classy.
