Capcom released Asura's Wrath episode 11.5 for download.
Let me guess: you knew the battle with Gohma Striker was way too ambitious to finish in time for the release date, so you intentionally left that chapter with a blank WTF ending, and now expect people to buy missing content that they thought they already paid for.
It's ~$2 to download, but fuck that. I'll wait and watch it on YouTube. It's going to be 85% cutscene w/ QTEs anyway, and the actual gameplay is going to be as dry and repetitive as the rest of the game was. Unless they somehow decided to add some interesting new mechanic, the missing level isn't worth a penny more than free.
I will admit, however, that the Street Fighter DLC looks like it could be worth a buck and change.
Edit: And supposedly the real true ending is going to be DLC as well rather than a full sequel. Seriously, did they rush this fucking thing to market when it wasn't ready, or did they really want people to end up spending upwards of $70 total on this one game?

Downloadable content involves spending money.
I took it out of my dictionary because of this. True story.

Horseshit. Plenty of software developers offer free updates and patches, because they actually give a fuck about the quality of the products they're selling. Smart people know they can make money with quality products and a good reputation. I guess some people are still trying to prove you don't need either of those things, which makes me wonder why they don't just stick with sports games. Or better yet, investment banking.

QUOTE(FourThirteen @ Apr 1 2012, 09:01) Plenty of software developers offer free updates and patches, because they actually give a fuck about the quality of the products they're selling. I'll just quote that part because it is true and does not involve spending money, but the rest of your post was valid as well.

Playing online mahjong is fun until you notice you are playing online against computer-controlled opponents with premium points.
How do I know ? They change names after I crash and resume the same exact game, immediately discard tiles and only take the time to think when there's a connection issue on my side.

Finally got all 400 pieces for the AI in ZEKE. Time to S rank all of the missions and try to finish the rest of the trophies.

I can't get the mods to work. Is it only Crysis 2 Limited Edition support mods? I can't find the Mods folder in Crysis 2's (not the Limited Edition) directory.

I've just deleted a Sim while trying to revamp her. No confirmation window as usual.
I wonder why I'm still playing that game. Pure masochism, most likely.

UEFA Euro 2012 will be released as DLC for FIFA 12. It is possible that it will be priced much cheaper than a full retail version which is good news. The bad news is those without a copy of FIFA 12 are going to be really pissed off.

I'm not really a fan of games that involve messing with balls, except for that particular one most men are fond of. And golf. Because it's easy and you can solo. I'm tempted to say tl;dr, but since we are good acquaintances, at least on my side, I'll try and read that WOT anyway.
Done reading. So, basically, fuck game devs because the profit race is growing like cancer in the gaming industry and stop buying their shit ? Well, that's not badly written, just not breaking news except it's under a different codename.
I say more freelancers and open source gaming. We need freelance fighters in every fucking domain.
Because the whole system is fucked.
Now, I'm not saying people shouldn't get paid for making games. That's a service. You're making a fucking game. You get paid for delivering a service. That's how things work. Just don't be an asshole about it and exploit every nook and cranny about the system to get the most money out of it instead of giving the actual customer a more pleasant experience.
ADDENDUM : I don't think what I wrote was very good, either. Well, fuck it.

I wanted to check and see for myself because it was your opinion. You know, being modest and all. That could have been a masterpiece.
Also, because I often do stupid things. And because wasting time is a hobby of mine.

Why did people claim that Lavender Town's music was "disturbing"? I never found anything wrong with it, and secondly, it was supposed to sound eerie, which it did.

Kind of been wondering if an updated release of Vesperia will be in Xbox games on demand. Or a NA 360 release of Arcana Heart 3, I find myself thinking no. Or if I am being honest with myself I'm sure the answer is no.
I can't be too bothered by that though, Skullgirls release is too hype to let anything keep me down.
