As usual with Ubisoft, everything revolves around fighting piracy. The new initiative, championed by the company’s vice president Chris Early aims to do so by adding companion services like mobile and social hooks to keep users invested in legit copies.

That Early guy should elaborate on this so-called "companion services", 'cause I don't understand. I still wish Ubishit would shut down their "always-online DRM".

So, basically, they're going to try and nerf pirates to prevent piracy ?

If you were referring to post #1295, Zenonia 4 for iPad. Just started back from scratch because I had spent premium points on crappy abilities and a really bad build.

Mostly playing for the storyline and quests. Graphics are nicety-nice 2D, but the game itself is disappointing because it's mostly solo, and the data is stored clientside, meaning people using jailbroken iPads can hack their character like crazy and play for free. It also has a PvP feature, but well, considering the previous statement, it's pretty much pointless unless two hackers are competing against each other.

On the upside, you can team up with hackers in asynchronous mode (with the AI controlling their character) and get some epic powerleveling while waiting for them to be done in front of the dungeon exit. :3

Looking at a level 10 blader hit mobs for 70k when you can barely dish out 1000s with your 35 slayer feels kind of odd, though.

If I had an iPad I might check it out, but I don't.

You're not losing much.

Those iPads are full of shit since you can neither use Flash nor Java without jailbreaking them and it's mostly paid content.

They might be good for office work, though. Every doctor and their dog student had one at the hospital.
